I unfortunately had to live there for a few years in the mid 80s to mid 90s. This bridge in opening scene was that way when I left! No disrespect to anyone who lives there. But, I've been all over the country; and this by far (no comparison) was the worse place I ever lived. Frankly, it is a shit hole and a minimum of 20 years behind in everything. Do yourself a favor; experience the rest of the country. My kids have had so many more opportunities then I ever had at their age. Thankfully I realized it, and was determined to never plant roots there. Literally, nothing changed except the faces of the poor souls stuck there.
Is Reading a good city if you like good street parking? It looks great for someone who likes a smaller city and can walk to everything but I wonder if its a problem if you drive a car and need to park it anywhere.
@@wrageout People in PA either don't want new people moving in or B, they really hate it where they are and the 1st part is really not the case. Sometimes I can't tell, and I lived in PA before too. I must tell you though WRAGE, people from surrounding higher cost New England states will be migrating to PA if they already haven't, especially italian and greek ones who are younger like maybe 30s-40s or so. i once had the idea long before it got cool too haha.
Doesn't look as bad as I thought, with a lot of substantial bldgs. But I know it is awful. Also, it is dangerous to get dumped onto the left land of Oregan at rush hour.
Update: Reading has improved to the point where it is the middle of the best places to live in America, given that this country has become the USSA under Dem rule. Let's Go Brandon!
