I highly recommend to pick up "What you are looking for is in the library" by Michiko Aoyama. It's all about how reading the right book at the right time can enable you to look at the world in a new way. It had such an heartfelt and uplifiting message. I felt reasured and happy after reading it.
I am also on a translated fiction hype at the moment! Highly recommend Banana Yoshimoto, both Kitchen and The Premonition are spectacular 🎉 I’m about to read Strange Weather in Tokyo by Hiromi Kawakami ❤
I just keep devouring the books - they’re so addictive. From the characters, to the descriptors.. magical ✨ Thank you so much for those recommendations - I haven’t heard of them so will definitely be looking into them. Ooo, strange weather! I just recently added that to my wishlist. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts 😊
I have always enjoyed translated fiction so I am loving this video! ❤ These books are either ones I have read already or ones I would like to read, so I am very interested to hear what you think of them. I just finished 'The Housekeeper and the Professor' by Yoko Ogawa and loved it. It is very short, and I think you would enjoy it based upon the books you liked in this video, if you haven't already read it 😊
Oh I’m so glad that I read books you’ve both read and wanting to! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the ones in which you hadn’t yet read 🥰✨ Thank you for the recommendation, I haven’t heard of it but definitely going to read up on it! 🦋
@@woodlandbunny I'll definitely let you know! I heard about it on another booktube channel and was curious. I just love getting to learn about new books I wouldn't have come across before 🥰
