This python tutorial video shows how to load video files in python using the videoCapture object for image processing. Covers things like reading movie files in python, and extracting and analyzing a movie frame in the openCV API. This is critical to get started doing python video processing.

3:53 According to Stack Overflow (14556545), camera manufacturers back then use the BGR format, and also Windows, so it was kept due to historical reasons.

For android phone, I'm afraid that is probably difficult, but for webcam you can take a look at my other video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ohvgg1jyPQ.html - I don't discuss applying a DNN to it, but I do show how to collect the frames themselves. From there you can apply an ML framework to them directly.
