I AM an old lady, 71, to be exact. Love your videos. I would live in a coffee shop and book store if I could. I’m not into your genre of books, more mystery and romance novels. I’m into Karen White right now. Have had panic and anxiety attacks since I was 19 so I definitely understand. It gets better. Describe your kindle holder, please. I think I got the same holder and I got mine from Amazon. Also got the page remote. It is perfect for reading in bed or sofa.

yeah i use a tablet stand that's flexible and you can adjust so you can angle it while laying down (it clamps onto something like a table or a bed frame if it's straight edges and not too wide) and i also have a page turner remote so i can keep my hands under blankets here are the links (i got them on amazon) remote: amzn.to/3OGrydg stand: amzn.to/47gr9pb

Only the more newer/recent paperwhites and kindle oasis can have a black background and white text. Your kindle looks like the more basic kindle, it’s not a paperwhite. The newer paperwhites doesn’t have a raised bezel. The normal kindles have a raised bezel. Hope this helps!

That's also what I figured! She says it's the 10th gen, and iirc only the newest Basic Kindle (11th gen, which I have) has Dark Mode.

I'm pretty sure i have the same kindle as you. to put it in Dark Mode you pull down that arrow at the top of the screen and select dark mode, and that should make the pages black with white writing.. i hope this helps

I have the same kindle as you and when your reading a book pull the menu down and it should have the option that says dark mode and it should give you black pages with white text

ohhh okay so i lovvved the atlas six (anxiously waiting for book three) once I got used to her writing style I could NOT get enough of it 😭 so now I've read almost all of her books and think about her characters 24/7 idk what she puts in her books but I'd read anything she writes 😫 (whats funny tho is that one for my enemy is actually my least favourite of hers not bc its bad or anything but i just do not like romeo and juliet retellings so 😭) i'd recommend to start with the atlas six series or alone with you in the ether !!

Atlas Six was not good. it was just so messy and the plot didn't make much sense(edit: it was predictable and simplistic) and I just couldn't get into it at all.
