I am so happy you read all three of TIG books, the first book for me was the best! Also we need more books where the chapters are so short, I find I read so much faster when chapters are shorter and more frequent!
"Just me, my books and my crochet this weekend".... honestly sounds like the perfect weekend 😆 I just finished Anatomy and the romance in it is sooooo cute. Definitely the highlight of the book. Cards on the Table, I constantly get the Truly Devious and the Inheritance Games series mixed up, since they are both YA Mystery trilogies that have monochrome covers LOL.
I loved this vlog! It definitely had cozy and chill vibes! I love the Inheritance Games trilogy. I enjoyed meeting all the characters and solving the riddles/puzzles along with them. I also enjoyed the short chapters, it made it so easy to read! Have a good weekend, Katie!
sadly, i haven't read tig series 😭 but i do love your vlogs and your weekend sounds perfect, no plans, just reading and crocheting. honestly, a dream. i absolutely love your bags. i love the colours you chose.
Hey Katie! Really enjoyed your video! I read The Inheritance Games and I liked it however I was very disapointed with the last book because I am a Grayson stan ahah Also if you are looking for something fast-paced/quick-read I recommend the "Vendetta" series by Catherine Doyle: it has forbidden love, enemies to lovers, underworld with warring families, sort of "Romeo and Juliet meets The Godfather" :D BTW I was the one who recommended the VA series, I am so glad that you are loving it ahah :)
I remember blisters when crocheting. I really need to pick up crocheting again. 🥰 It's been years, but its such a relaxing thing to do while watching a movie in the evening.
I haven’t read the Inheritance Games yet, but it seems really interesting. I did start Vampire Academy and it is SO GOOD. I am kind of upset I waited so long to start it. Can’t wait for your next blog and your thoughts on how the series is concluded!
ooh i’m so glad you decided to start vampire academy and are enjoying it!! it’s seriously my favorite thing right now and i am so sad that i’m already on the last book😭😭
I’ve only read the first book in the inheritance games and I think I’m gonna leave it at that but I love the vlog so far And I love listening to it while I paint!! 😊
i also always watch yt vids while i work on my journal!! :) and that was definitly intentional haha, i was just sad i didn’t have a red or pink one for the final gambit😭
After you finish Vampire academy you need to read bloodlines, that is a spin off of Vampire academy. I have the Inheritance game and I am excited to read it. You should also read the good girl's guide to murder soon...
Don’t forget to add your crochet instruction link. 😉 not that I’m capable of actually following directions and making one of those. I enjoy watching your fast motion crocheting though. Oddly satisfying and mesmerizing. 👀 Looking forward to a TOG vlog-❤Empire of Storms!❤
Okay first of all aaaaaaa!!!! I'm so happy to see your vlog. I was so tired and I had just finished the first book of inheritance games, so reading for so long made my eyes hurt since I was reading on my phone. I liked the first book but I've not heard great things about the other two so I'm hesitant to pick them up. I saw somewhere that this series was actually a duology, which I thought makes sense why it feels so streched and has some boring parts. Also your bag looks so cute and the color combination is awesome. I wish I could crochet.
aw yay!! but that would actually make so much sense if this was supposed to be a duology and i’m really interested to see what i would have thought of this series had there only been two books!! and thank you!🤎 i highly recommend getting into chocheting it’s very relaxing!
I bought the whole series and I'm very excited to read it! I've heard very good reviews about the first book and I think I'll probably really like it the best but I have to see what I think about the other two. I sadly had the part of who she ends up with spoiled for me :( so I already know that part. But besides that I've avoided spoilers so I'm happy!
I tried to get through the Naturals series but could not do it. Not because Im 39 and that's YA because I still love me some YA. Maybe it's her writing. If I'm hesitant on a book, I won't read it. Life's too short.
I literally laughed out loud for a second when you mentioned that yet another kidnapping occured in Spirit Bound hahaha It's really interesting to now see your thoughts on the Inheritance Games series! I personally enjoyed the third book a little more than the first and the second book a little less than the first. The difference in enjoyment wasn't that big though. Not my favourite book series ever (and I'm definitely not as obsessed with it as so many people on the internet are lol) but over all definitely a good, solid read! Though I have to agree that the scale of the mystery and all the people involved became huuuge by the end. And I totally agree about Xander, he was definitely my favourite Hawthorne brother as well! Also, your bag is looking so good already!
one day richelle mead will learn…😭😂 i’m glad we have similar thoughts on the series overall! i think i put too much trust in the internet and i was expecting to also be obsessed. also thank youu!!🤎
@@katieisreading yeeaahhh I kind of had to learn the hard way already that I shouldn't build my expectations for books based on the general internet's opinion. Not because I ended up reading horrible books because they were popular but I've read books that I would've probably enjoyed more, if my expectations simply hadn't been built as high by the internet. It's probably better to trust certain people only, though I need to remind myself of that more often too. It's just so easy sometimes to "fall for" a hype 😬
So happy you enjoyed the series, I hated the first book personally and never continued🤣😇for me the characters anddd even riddles felt lackluster and juvenile... So disappointed, because I expected a new favorite book. But I loved this vlog and how you placed your thoughts🪐🤎
So is the vampire accadamey finished now? Haha you love it so much!! Now we will watch the purchasing of the books, hehe! Oh I love it. I have never read it, but how the we watched the obsession take over! Haha it was good stuff! Anywho, I love the bag your making! Xoxo
i need to get into the final gambit i read both the inheritance game and the hawthorne legacy ! it was a nice ride not a 5 stars but i liked it ! i was wondering as this kinda a first for me watching someone crochet something ( i don’t know if it’s even a word 😅) how do you start it from scratch do you have a plan you’re following ! i love your color schem it’s so pretty !
i hope you enjoy the final gambit! and i for the most part i always have a plan im following when i make something, there are so many good patterns that people post on youtube that are super helpful! and thanks!!🤎
an hour for a series I just finished and want to know what to rate? sign me up! also, I think you should read the good girl's guide to murder series next. I really enjoyed that one.
I enjoyed the first book in the series, but the others were just okay for me, I feel like after spending three books with these characters, I should've liked them or cared for them? I only really cared for Xander, Max, and on a smaller scale, Nash and Libby, the rest of the characters were just there.
the third book was personally the most disappointing for me not just because im team grayson but also bc i genuinely do not care about toby lol. the first book was definitely the best
i also just did not care about toby and am very disappointed that he’s the basically main focus of the second and third books🙃 the first book was where this series peaked for sure!
it definitely depends on the person! but i feel like short chapters almost suck me into it more, but i can see how it could get a bit irritating to constantly be switching to a new chapter
