I'm a new first time reader of Wheel of Time. (Currently on book 10) I wanted to share some of my thoughts on what I dislike and like so far. I won't be covering the typical topics such as world building, magic, lore, etc. But a few things that really stand out to me in this series! Thank you for taking the time to hear my thoughts!

I like some of the repetitive descriptions because it can sometimes lead to moments where we recognize someone that was perhaps mysterious first when we see them again from a different POV perhaps "Ah! It's them again!"

I tried to get into these books. I forced myself through the foirst five and gave up. I hated every character in the books. Every one. I just couldn't stand them.

You are not the first to say this... It's not for everybody and you are not obligated to finish a series you don't like! What are some of your favorite books?
