I love the combined wisdom and common sense of your readings, they always bring a lot. Thanks for the history lesson about June 19th, as a non-american I had never heard about it. Considering how important it is, it's a shame you don't hear about it outside the US, I think. I am so happy to learn that you are reading Ben Dov's book on Marseille, I think it's one of the best on the subject. A friend always teases me saying its Jodorowsky's "The Way of Tarot" (my absolute bible) made understandable and usable 😂...
I've always had a problem with spiritual readings that are all about frequencies and portals and ascension but they don't tell me what that means in practical terms. Mercury in Virgo, don't you know. I have found one error in the Ben Dov book. He says in two different places that the eagle on the World card represents the intellect, but it doesn't. It's the symbol of Scorpio--which is the exact OPPOSITE of intellectual. The Angel is the symbol of Aquarius/Air/Intellect. In the description of the card, he does say the Eagle is the symbol of Scorpio, but elsewhere associates it with the intellect. I will definitely be getting the Jodorowsky book. Now I'm really interested in seeing the comparison!
@@TheZenWitch Actually I never read the Ben Dov book, I just quoted what my friend says, and a lot of English speaking people seem to love it, so I thought it was a good reference for RWS users to learn Marseille. As for the eagle on the World card, for me it represents Air, the intellect, too. i have always considered the bull to stand for Earth, the leo Fire, and the angel Water, or spades, pentacles, wands and cups, and Jodorowsky too. I am just starting to study astrology, and have never put the signs together with tarot so far. But I have never thought of associating the eagle with Scorpio, exactly because they seem very opposite to me! RWS seems definitely different from Marseille then... Keep me posted on your progress ! Scorpio has three symbols--the scorpion is the lowest manifestation, concerned only with the pleasure of stinging. This refers to sexuality, but also to taking your feelings out on people--Scorpio's reputation for vengefulness. The second symbol is the eagle, representing the ability to rise above the base emotions and see the larger picture. The third symbol is the phoenix, the ability to completely transform the ego. Being an astrologer for many years before I started with tarot, I get terribly grumpy when things get garbled in translation. The symbol of Aquarius is literally an angel, and I will just have to edit Ben-Dov's opinion out of my mind! LOL
