I have questions! One, is the Reader app separately priced from the already subscribed to Readwise? And two, does it export to Notion if you already have Readwise set up to automatically export highlights to Notion? You are the one who introduced me to the original Readwise app, and now I don’t know how I lived without it. It definitely upped my non-fiction game. Keep inspiring bookworms and bookworms to be! Thank you!
Reader is included in the regular Readwise subscription (not the "Lite" subscription tier, tho); your Reader highlights sync into the same database as your regular Readwise highlights, which will then export to whatever you have set up (I do this with Obsidian)
Actually this comes at a very good time. I just bought a subscription that enables me to get so so many epub books, and I was sad that the highlights even though done in Kindle Reader did not upload to Readwise. You have saved me a lot of copying and pasting my man!! One more question 3) how can I see how many pages or percentage I am in the book? The little blue line at the bottom is a good visual representation, but I track my reading in Bookshelf and Goodreads and StoryGraph, do you know how to see that info?
Ii like READER because for me, it almost always captures a whole subscription article (like New York Times or Wall St Journal). While EVERNOTE and ONENOTE capture well, I always had trouble with readers like POCKET etc. So I jumped into READER right away. The read out loud function is good too. // I wasn't sure how you got to 15 favorite things, but if the progress bar is a Favorite Thing, you can get there.
