Also make doors either open inward or outward rather than them opening in whatever direction you are walking toward. This changes a lot of the ways I would take a room.

Also he tries to check all possible angles before going forward to the blind spots. That's exactly how you don't get shot in back, or from the top in case of damaged buildings.

No, a great way to get shot in the back is by doing exactly what he did at 2:05 . He never cleared the doorway to his left, he had no idea if those doors were open or not. @@victuz

​@@hdofthegarden1360technically the first suspect was the one he forgot to press f on. If you hear they're bleeding out they stay down after being arrested. If you hear expired then when you cuff them or after a while they pop if, and if arrested already you have to re confirm with a 2nd f. Is that what gets you S ratings then? I've only got a few and never knew what decides it.

Oh yeah, if you try to swing a door and it swings back, you know someone is there. Kick that shit for a lengthy stun. You don't usually need to muzzle strike for compliance, but it definitely helps extend the stun while increasing their stress if the first couple shouts don't make them surrender. (Talking about the game, of course)

Apparently it's not, they fake being dead intentionally from my experience

it isn't a bug, they can sometimes fake being dead, and when you walk over to then they'll try to stab or shoot you, he was still alive but surrendered properly before he would've gotten killed, pretty rare interaction in vanilla RoN

Was) siege isn’t this and I’m glad it’s not, I’m not necessarily always happy with where it ended up but I do believe that about 2 years ago it was a perfect competitive shooter minus bugs and shit like that. It was unique but with a tinge of realism that made you really think.

RS was more of a “shoot first” game, but this is definitely more of an RS game than that Pride Rainbow Siege is.

That wasn't a civilian though. He had a gun. He very well could have just shot him and wouldn't have lost any points for doing so.

​@@alexanderreeves6955 If you shoot before summoning to drop the gun, you loose points for "unauthorized use of force" or "unauthorized use of deadly force" because big brother is watching. And I did shoot a civilian runing out from a closet on another map (I think it was the gas station) because it made me jump like this video and I pressed LMB by mistake :P

@@alexanderreeves6955 try to cuff as much of them as possible instead of just shooting - be very careful, fuckers can pretend to surrender and pull out a second gun, or stab you with a knife when you get close to cuff them :P Make sure to secure all evidences, report everything. Now you can also pick up arrested people and carry them to a different spot, so civilians don't get caught in fire from an opened door etc. In the end evaluation page you get everything writen down - why your grade is lower: pros on the left, cons on the right :)

No, unfortunately not. Being able to set up this kind of AI behavior would be a great addition addition to the game though!

The game randomizes their behavior a bit, I wish you could have a "difficulty selection" of sorts that would determine if the NPC's were more aggravated or more compliant.

@@VirgilGamingYT SWAT4 had this. You could set up how compliant they’d be with a chance slider, how likely to have armor they’d be, how aggressive they’d be, and how good their aim is. Also a slider for civilians to aggressors

It happens, the AI can do this. That's why he try to always keep suspects in sight when checking the whole room. But the UI behavior depend on the suspect personality (terrorist and casual thief don't behave the same), their fear (one officer with a pistol is different than 5 with rifles, it also depends if they have a hidden weapon or have to get back their weapon from the floor. So, absolutely : it didn't happen here, but it could. And that's one of the best part of Ready or Not : the UI is awesome and make you pay attention seriously to your back and to "surprises" from suspects.

suspects have the ability to feign being dead. Had it happen to one of my friends recently. They asked me why I cuff the bodies even when they're dead, a few rounds later, one got shot, called him in dead, and he got up and stabbed my bud. I told his afterwards "That's why."
