- Don't make this ugly! - Arms out strectched! - Drop your weapon, do it now! *Shield getting shot at* *Enemy fire and returning fire* Swat team goes behind cover *Flashbang* … *Flashbang* … Suspect absolutely demolished by gunfire after peeking the corner.
@Xi Chang Alright, form on me. Understood. Suspect! Get down on the ground! Let me see your fucking hands! **Try it!** **BANG BANG BANG** Suspect is armed. ... Get a flashback in there. *On it.* ***THUD*** *PAM* *I ca-* **BANG BANG** Entry to TOC, downed Suspect here. Understood Entry Team, EMTs are on the way. Keep moving.
This game has such a unique soundtrack. Instead of being an incredibly fast-paced guitar filled action game soundtrack it took an interesting mix of different classical instruments along with a nice light electronic touch. The only word I can find for it is just "classy" which it really is. Love it.
The closest series comparable soundtrack wise in my mind is Max Payne. Though the music is of course different it flows in much the same vein as RoN. The mix of classical instruments with more electronic vibes to produce a chilling and somber tune is rare in gaming indeed.
After a huge firefight, I remember I saw at least three other people in the squad downed, I was the last one. While reporting their bodies and walking along, the post-combat theme came up with the classic instruments. I Don't think I've ever felt more chills from being alone in a game like this, such excellent music can set the scene perfectly.

Entry team to TOC, teammate appeared sober during post - cleanup, I want everyone in my team give him huggies huggies
Hearing the combat music blasting while making my way into the restaurant section got my adrenaline pumping, then post combat kicks in and I'm trying to find the last guy and get jumpscared by that FUCKING CUTOUT!
Really drives in the end of a combat encounter. Checking your rounds, seeing if your team members got injured, securing any evidence or civilians in the immediate area. It's just, so perfect.
This sounds like it was pulled straight out of a noire police thriller. It is so well done with the drums in the begining and the ticking clock emphacizing that each and every second counts and when the violin kicks in that feeling of tension rises due to the very high notes And during the end ish part the song comes together to crwate this very 'vigelante' sounding piece that feels great to listen to especially in the rain. What a masterstroke
It represents quite accurately the pshyce youyr character has, you have a job to do, you must do it well, you must save lives. The violin really helps this
@@Werddrewtv i kind of agree with and also at same time disagree with you. Ofcourse there was no need for him to write a lengthy para expressing his intricately detailed opinion regarding the soundtrack, BUT I ask you do you only do things out of pure necessity ? Obviously it wasn't necessary for him to express himself. Regardless of that he did so, and i dont see anything wrong with that. Similarly it wasn't necessary for YOU to write a comment expressing your opinion regarding his lengthy opinion. If a human were to only do things out of necessity we wouldn't be humans. These flawed characteristics is what makes us who we are.
What's honestly sad is that's likely true in some places... seriously I saw a news article of a child getting arrested because they BIT their Poptart into the shape of a pistol... A FUCKING POPTART and the child got the police called on them.
Your team makes entry into the building. One of your buddies gets ambushed and goes down. This music picks up. You start hearing shots in the next room and civs yelling for help. It feels personal now. These soundtracks are great.
Your comment: "Trying to get an S rating" version. Your team makes entry into the building. One of your buddies gets ambushed and goes down. This music picks up. You arrest the guy who killed your partner. You put him behind a door and execute him by detonating the door with C2. You restart the level.
The sound design of RoN is absolutely masterful, from the guns sounding good and bolt release sounding right, from the soundtrack being unique and great. Bless the devs.
Yeah, Only bad-ish part is the fact they don't let you pre-cache the sounds to prevent your FPS dropping if you have a lower end rig when the rounds start flying.
violin part at 0:31 reminds me of that random swat4 red library ambience . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-41wrcj_1vnI.html around 0:35
First track I've heard in this game is this, and this made me love this game. It's fit to my situation, where we split into 2-2 and the open heavy fire. Me and my buddy had to rotate through the building as fast as possible, along with clearing the path we passed through.
The style of this game's ost reminds me of Hitman: Blood Money's soundtrack. The classical instruments over a thudding electric drum beat give such a tactical/cool vibe.
I Love how the song seems to mimic how it must be to be a SWAT Operator in a firefight . During the stress moments the music goes loud and chaotic and then at 01:09 it calms down as If the trained operator is getting his mind back together after an intense firefight that is now over.
I had installed the S.W.A.T Voiceover mod and i thought this was from SWAT 4 to me that shows how good the music really brings the feel of SWAT 4 in RON
I've been wanting to get into law enforcement since a young age and still plan to. The physical fitness test is what I am training for at the moment and for some reason this song alone pushes me harder than any other when it comes on during workout lmao
@@kizbo69 thanks man, I've talked with my family about it and was able to get a recruitment flyer. You have to get accepted into the academy before actually working. Sadly my state requires you to be 21 so I just have about 3 years for me to go. In the mean time I will continue training with firearms as well as practicing de-escalation. I also till need to read up and remember all the codes...
Play Door Kickers campaign, its a top down shooter, but the campaigns have permadeath, and injury system, where your injuries get better progressively as the campaign continues.
Finally good music coming back to gaming. After halo infinite to this just shows how important music and soundtracks are. Your gonna remember this every combat encounter with the help of these tracks. Job well down can’t wait to hear what they do next
the kinda music that wants you to clear rooms smooth and methodically instead of sprinting inside and drop shotting the first human being you come across
1:ok team stack up we gotta move quickly before the bombs go off 2:got it ima breach and 3 can throw the flash bang 4:i'll cover back. 3:arlight flash bang ready 1:Ok 2 check left side ill check right. Instantly dies because we forgot to check for traps
This soundtrack is basically what happens when you are a veteran to a dangerous job, and you have to deal with all the trauma, all the glory and all the pain.
games soundtrack is amazing but I just cant listen to it while im in a mission, I love just sound effects and no music while on missions. the eerie silence of the lead up to a gunfight is too intense for music to ruin it.
I mean they try to keep that suspense there to then crash it open when the rounds crash the silence open and have it fade out when the action fades out, Works pretty well in game.
