To press stuff down in pans like crusts or granola my mama taught me to always put a piece of parchment on top and press with my hands. Only way I can get stuff to stick!
Jordan is a handful like our youngest Ryan was. Just push everything to the limit LOL. It wasn't fun at the time and he never out grew it until he was 18! He was a very stubborn boy with a mind of his own and didn't care if you spanked him, time out or took things away. Love the day in the life video.

She absolutely knew the camera caught her sneaking a bite. I did have to snicker when “shut up” came out of her sweet little mouth. It was just so random. It wasn’t said in anger or frustration. It was just something she knew was wrong, but she just had to say it. You need to send Jerod to Houston to build me some garden boxes complete with the watering system you have. That is so innovative. I promise to feed him meat at every meal! Thanks for taking us along on your day. I am going to try the granola recipe. I have yet to find one I like.
Hey Jean sorry to respond so late, I do appreciate your comments! I can't keep those girls off the counters, that's where we spend at least 50% of our time, lol. Jerod's dad and sister actually own a rainwater harvesting business and they started off making those little garden boxes. They do much bigger projects now, they were doing a lot of work in Houston a couple of years ago but I don't think they really do anymore. I'm sure Jerod would appreciate those dinners though! I made another recipe from that cookbook last week, it was actual granola instead of granola bars. I really liked it so I think I should share the recipe soon. One day they will all be in school and you can go back to work at least part time if you wanted. You are a good mom tho!! It’s freezing today!
