at 3:59 you can see it showing 55 and before that he was even at 58 at 3:55 ... he only "slowed down" to 44 once he noticed the car starting an illegal turn. so whilst the car was clearly in the wrong for turning there, it could have once more been a complete non-issue if the biker didn't feel the need to speed like a complete moron.

@Bulky.riding This is not just aimed at you, but any young person or people who has been in similar situations. Don't ever let ego get the better of you. Yes, the guy that approached you was most definitely in the wrong. So you have two options, 1, Ignore them, maybe curse to yourself, be on your way. 2, Or make contact with them, point them to the error of their ways, however, this has consequences, you have to be prepared if it gets heavy or physical, if you're not prepared for this, I suggest you stick to the first option. Last but not least. If you decide to stop and the said person comes over to approach you, GET OFF YOUR BIKE... Do not stay on your bike, you're so vulnerable and the odds are in the aggressors favour. If even a skinny guy pushes you on your side, you lose balance and the weight is transfered to your one leg, this can result in your bike getting damaged and more importantly.. YOU!!!!

@@TampaBayJay45 Probably because the caged idiots often try to go through/over us in order to achieve that pole position. It's rare to see a caged driver perform a safe pass on a biker, very rare. They'll run oncoming traffic off the road to show that mean dirty biker who's boss if they just so happened to wake up on their day of redemption. And by the way, whatever is in front of the biker means nothing, they'll realize they have nowhere to go, squeeze in, then brake check you for tailgating (Not magically opening up your space cushion to kindly let them in after the fact). Now, of course this isn't always the case, but it's a rare occurrence when a cager signals their pass, safely does so, respects BOTH forward and rear space cushions, and maintains their speed after all is said and done. VERY RARE. Hell if they did the first 2 things (signal their intentions and not ride my ass up until their moment of victory) then I'll even scoot over, toss them a peace sign and let em by. I'm not always in the biggest hurry.

Sacramania, for such a close call they ended up being straightforward people. That’s a rarity. I have been nearly hit and had kids laughing about the close call. It’s insane how many people don’t realize what the damage can be to a motorcycle in just the smallest of fender benders.

Itase in the second clip: sees the car in front trying to merge into a lane that is occupied/merged into by another car, creating a potentially dangerous situation. also Itase: ah yes, I better speed up and try to squeeze past while they are still in the same lane as me, because risking a crash is better than waiting 10 fucking seconds!

In most countries you are entitled to the space in your lane until you have fully exited it in case you need to suddenly abort the lane change meaning if an accident had occured the biker would be legally at fault too

Sixty MPH in an area that is likely 35 to 45. Coming up way too fast. If you had been going slower, you could have controlled yourself and taken action. Too many bikers think it's their job to lecture cagers about how to drive when they've been speeding. I would not have paid you a cent on-site. If the police had caught you going that fast through there, you likely would have gotten a ticket for reckless driving. Certainly contributory negligence.

Sacrimaniac lives in Sacramento California. That was 16th street Downtown he was riding through. That Suburban is driven by an idiot, bit Sacrimaniac is an idiot as well for going 40/45+ down that 30mph road. That being said, i under his anger. Sacramento California drivers are among the worst in the entire USA, and that's saying something considering New York, New Jersey, Detroit, LA, Atlanta, and Chicago are all places that exist, yet Sacramento California has worse drivers. We also have more homeless people than San Francisco despite having a much smaller population.

it does work like that, in civilized countries (aka not the US) at least. I'm european, so we have more civilized method's than just shooting people upon the first confrontation. besides, when someone tries to stop you, you bolt on the bike. and if you cant? well, you have a full suit of armor and hardened knuckles with most moto-gear, so you can usually take someone in a fight. if you can't, then you can start thinking about using lethal force. I'd only use a gun if the guy who's threatening me is doing so with clear intent to cause harm or if he's brandishing a lethal weapon. otherwise, I run.

These aren’t traffic police, they are just people who bought a motorcycle and have no more rights on the road than the other drivers. Plenty of room to go by that car without incident, but he still threw his hand up to tell the driver off(no middle finger but still a gesture). I recently got into driving on two wheels and it is really fun. I must say that as someone who OBAY THE LAW, I have not run into any issues with other drivers. It might be a EU thing where licenses are worth something and people can drive, but I tend not to do 200km/h on 50km/h roads and so far I have not had to slam on the breaks because someone did something wrong. I also don't drive recklessly and I always look out for potential issues. Always keep distance to people. But don't treat everyone as if they're stupid. At least not by default. You'll be surpriced at how ideotic bikers can be at times when they demand that you move over half a car length because they can't be bothered slowing down to legal speeds.

Nah this has happened to me before. Not on a bike but in a car. Insurance is great but he was right if you can avoid filing insurance and reach a mutual understanding it's better. The SUV driver knew he fucked up. I'm not saying the biker was totally right, he was indeed going too fast and should be driving more defensively. That said, $200 cash for this encounter was a preferable outcome. The biker probably won't put it towards new fairings, but with insurance involved he would get new fairings, it would have cost more than $200 for those, and they would have received points on insurance. I'd hand over the $200 cash for sure, good mutual resolution.

No, thats a turn lane thats illegal to take in the first place, and he was hiding his face knowing he was illegal to begin with... Are you referring to my clip? That place that car illegally jumped into a turn lane to push me out of my lane... There are manholes right there that I normally go around right there... Also.. when bikes split lanes, they are usually in an area that it is legal to do so... It is not here, and I don't split lanes ever... I have 40 years driving and riding and have NEVER broken any law on the road except for a bit of speeding... Just because someone rides a sportbike..... doesn't mean he's a hooligan, racer, gang member... or anything else your small little mind has running through it... When you are 200 feet from where a road divides, have some common decency and respect and there wont be an issue.
