Added some ReadyAir rear air bags to
My 2022 F-350 longbed. Pretty impressed so far with the rosé improvement and overall ease of installation. These are 7200lb bags and have a working range from 10-150psi. Link to product page below

Sweet never seen these. I'll definitely look into them. Plan on getting a a 5th wheel toy hauler soon and definitely wanted to add bags. I got the same truck. 22 f350 longbed single rear wheel. I'm in placerville sell me that lift 😂

Bags are great… kinda a pain pulling the leafs apart but the bags install easy….. trucks for sale for the right price 👌

@AvgDadGarage 1 haha nice thanks for the info! I own the same truck with 2000 miles haha. Only had it a few months. Star white lariat ultimate with the black appearance package. I threw it out there just incase you part it out before you sell it. I'm looking at getting the same lift.

I was contemplating between this and the old school Firestone bags. My wheel guy will do complete instal with wireless compressor and train horn for $3K. I’ll go this route; thanks.

@@davidjones2820 these will ride way better than a traditional single bag… hav head 2 buddies switch and we all agree can’t beat this for ride quality/functionality

Do they give you a spacer to make up for the missing over load spring or does the center pin have enough thread to tighten down again?
@avgdadgarage1982
@avgdadgarage1982 6 месяцев назад
I can’t remember if it came with a new shorter pin or a spacer but it came with everything needed. Did not have to source anything to make it work

Nice looking truck! Are you able to add about 1" inch of lift to the back by just adding some air? I want to do a 2.5" levelling kit to the front but would like to raise the back about 1"inch.

When I did the Carli leveling system I also had them do a +1” rear block and new U bolts that come from Carli. Otherwise the rear sits a hair low when you level the front… I didn’t measure without the bags before and after. But seat of the pants it does sit a bit higher on the rear with the bags yes. Prob not a full inch

Hey man I just picked up the same bags and seen your comment about the pain with the leafs. How did you get the center pin out
@avgdadgarage1982
@avgdadgarage1982 Год назад
If I remember correctly it’s got a nut on the one side… remove and use a punch to get the pin out

I would just spend the extra money on the bags to keep the overload spring

If you bought the 88-23170 kit that says "with overload springs," why did you take your overload springs out? Cus there's the 88-23170 "with overload springs" and the 88-22170 "without overload springs". What's the difference?
@avgdadgarage1982
@avgdadgarage1982 6 месяцев назад
I believe the shackle and pin length in the kit is the difference. One is for a 3/4 ton and the other for a 1-ton which will have the overload spring. That’s the only suspension difference in a f250 and 350 is the overload spring in the rear leafs.
@huntertellez2002
@huntertellez2002 6 месяцев назад
Okay I was wondering that haven't had the time to look into it. So your saying that an F250 does not have the overload spring so I'd buy the 88-22170 kit "without the overload spring"?
@avgdadgarage1982
@avgdadgarage1982 6 месяцев назад
@@huntertellez2002 Correct an f250 (unless it’s a tremor I believe) does not have the overload springs. Thats the only difference in a 250 and a 350 besides larger rear axles.

How much air to you run in them while not towing and how much when your towing your toy hauler? Thanks
@avgdadgarage1982

Oh mannn… Real Deal himself ?? Lol. Run around at minimum 10psi. With the toy hauler which isn’t that heavy 12k loaded about 50 psi leveled it out perfect

How did you form the wheel well liner?

@avgdadgarage1982 5 месяцев назад
Didn’t that’s factory notched like that. I believe it’s notched like that to access the factory 5th wheel brackets/bolts which is where these attached too
