After trying out the simulator for myself and endlessly crashing, my respect has gone up tenfold for pilots like you. It's amazing to think you need to get all of this right the first time, and never mess up even when there's so much out of your control. Love your work man.
@@Relatablename Massive! I reccomend the small single prop Diamond plane as a good plane to learn in. It's nice and easy to fly and you can learn the Garmin cpu autopilot and ILS landings with it. Then you can fly the Diamond Dual engine plane which is almost identical but bigger. Hope that helps some.
@@honeybadger9425 That's very nice of you! I'll keep that in mind while learning the sim's ins and outs. The diamond plane has my favourite design too. Gotta love that shiny blue coat.
@@Relatablename Yes it's a lovely plane i fly it alot. Aswell for new pilots it's ideal because alot of the controls are very self explanatory and where you would expect them to be. It got Autopilot and can land itself aswell by ILS approach which you can watch youtube vids to learn slowly. You will have a good basic undertanding of what your looking for in other planes then at least which will help you alot.
For people commenting saying they have more respect for pilots after watching the video, like what did you think they did during a flight?? just sat there and got paid stupid amounts of money?? There is a reason why they need so much training and knowledge before hand along with the hardwork that goes into it
Funny coming from somone who isnt a pilot. Mad because you dont make enough money, or mad because someone is better than you lmao. Pilot school is not the easiest thing in the world, I would love to see you do it.
i thought pilots flew the plane and everything else (seat belts, oxygen, etc) were automatically handled by the computer or a robot or one of the flight attendants or magic. I didn't know pilots had to do all those things.
Now this is where your attitude makes you a better pilot even if that "Warning sign" keeps on popping, this pilot still controls he's emotion and attitude. Salute to you pilot JV!
when i was playing I somehow got a bug that replicated a warning sound from my last flight and i just wasnt sure where it came from and played with it for another hour or so lmao.
Yeah throughout the video you sound a bit like my wife sometimes... Totally No clue what you we're saying but you defenitely got way more patience than her😉. All joking aside... Just got MSFS fot XSX and to my surprise I'm hooked. Still fly like a drunk but dedicated to keep learning. Cool video man.
You have much better patience than I would ever have. That error keep popping up would’ve driven me absolutely mental. I guess being a good pilots means patience and professionalism. Bravo on the video
I love how at landing, ATC initially says "A320, go around," and "A320, you were not cleared to land. Clear the runway," then after you've landed, they're like "Airbus 320, ATC services terminated. Good day."
@@jacobs5608 No, saying that ATC services are terminated means that that plane will no longer communicate with the tower. I think it's usually used when a plane needs to switch frequency for the next part if their trip (departure to center, ground to ramp, that kind of thing). Basically, the tower is saying they aren't expecting to hear anything more from that flight in that frequency. I just found it funny that the tower is forcefully trying to stop him from landing, but then after he lands, the tower's like "All good, have a nice day" like nothing happened.
@@MultiPurposeReviewer It means the ATC will not be providing services anymore and that navigation and separation from other aircrafts is now the pilot's responsibility.
@@pronoe I know. I was remarking on the amusing juxtaposition of the ATC flapping about him not being cleared to land, then once he lands, wishing him a good day as though nothing happened.
@@MultiPurposeReviewer You said it's when an aircraft switch from one frequency to another which is incorrect. When that happens, flight following/ATC services is still being provided but by a different controller.
by the way, if u go to options --> general --> accesibility and change the cockpit interaction system to legacy, it would be much better and easier to control the cockpit.
I actually like playing in Locked, it works well with the A32NX mod, I tried Legacy and it doesn't seem to work on certain buttons of the aircraft, guessing it's due to the fact that the stock a320 is not fully operational yet
@@FlyJV i think youre talking about another setting, im talking about the setting where rather than moving ur mouse to turn on stuff, u can just click it, msfs accidently changed it like that for everyone after Sim Update 5
@@mattwilson9293 I mean. It takes us pilots more than 70 weeks in flight school, (On estimate), and another few months in simulations and flights, and even then we all forget things and have to ask our captains for help. So I don't know what aircraft you're flying and what airline you're flying for where it "Isn't that hard".
@@therealbongos Apparently you need more than 70 weeks to work on reading comprehension. OP commented on the button configurations and pressing all the buttons in the correct sequence, which is not difficult to learn. It's not like you're the one creating the schematic to make sure the 'start engine' button doesn't start a self destruct sequence.
@callmebongos you can literally learn it in a few hours of study. The 70 weeks is for covering everything flight wise. Not following some button pressing 😂😂
Сразу видно настоящий пилот и обладает спокойствием и выдержкой, что важно в реально жизни, другие давно бы взбесились уже от этого всплывающего окна 🤣🤣🤣
Good thing the real A320 does show up alerts for no internet connection every 3 seconds! 😂😂 soon will be going flight school after I finish my chemistry degree, looking forward to it, after 4 years delay I will be getting started, A320-A330-A350 is my dream route. Hopefully one day!
I suggest you get the Flaps and speedbrake addons for the throttle. They also have an autobrake knob, a landing gear lever, a parking brake, rudder trim and rudder trim reset
Really awesome seeing a actual Pilot maneuver around this game. More so in the cockpit controls for me than the actual flying. Seen plenty of gamers that could fly it well. But watching you go thru like the actual checklists and all of flying these planes is great.
Hi. I recommend using geforce experience to record and optimise game so it runs smooth. Also not running apps in the background helps a lot with frame rate.
I really like when you do everything professionally and properly, its the way you were trained, and its always good to practice for your own sake, it’s very important for the pilot to stay in shape 👍👍👍thank you!
Hello bro, you travelled to my country Guinea - Conakry😀, happy to see you there. I have a simulator at home "Marseille" and I like flying in african countries too, many fly simers not interested in, I think some are afraid of Rnav and VOR mod, they only try ILS landing. Flying in Africa improve knowledges. Next time you go to Conakry try the runway 06 too😀
Man your a cool dude. This flight you did showing us how an actual Airbus A320 operates was so awesome to watch. A lot goes into flying an aircraft like this and it was fantastic to be able to join you in this flight. Thanks for creating this video for us all. God Bless
A tip about the sim: I know you said that you can’t test it the way you normally would; I assume you are referring the viewing the ECAM during the fire tests. You can go back to your ECAM and click on it (I think it’s a double click) and it’ll pull up a expanded ECAM display. You can then take that with you to the overhead panel and view it as you are doing the fire tests.
Me turning on battery, lights and engine and start to fly right away: 😎 Him after pushing 10000 buttons: speeding up the video while pushing 10000 more
I can't believe that the warning pops up over and over again. Once is enough, clearly the player knows they're offline so why keep spamming it? Either way, i really enjoyed how you checked over everything in such a way you would do in real life. This has easily been my favorite ms fight vid I've seen yet. Even with the pop-up. Especially with how calm you stayed about it!! Very respectful!
when im older i want to be a pilot, and currantly in microsoft flight simulator i love flying an airbus, 320. so it is nice to see a real pilot play the game. good video👍👌
Hey JV, how would you compare the flybywire a32nx flight dynamics to the real A320.. Keep up the good content. 👍FYI if your getting sick of that warning pop ups. Go into general settings - change cockpit notifications.. Set everything to hard. Which is essentially notifications too off😉
Everything is on hard bro, the pop up had to do with internet not found. I would rate a32nx a 7-8/10 for now, a lot more functionalities to add and a few tweaks needed in aircraft behavior but it is well on its way
18:49 State your intentions. Would you like to declare an emergency? Great video though and excellent walkthrough of all the procedures and thought processes you go through, to aviate safely, and successfully, every time.
I had fun watching this video. Thank you for clearing up and making the confusion with time of decent easy as pie to understand. You now have me saying "boom" on my checks now lol. Good job.
You know, there’s this joke where the truck driver says, "tired, I’m going home to rest," and he’s at home playing a truck driver simulation. There’s something about it.
dope, i never thought i school a real pilot how to hit center line in MSFS2020 but you basically aim for end of run way and keep ur self visual above center. you sock at this bruh :P
about the pushback..after you ONN the aircraft batteries, you need to go on the menu bar first, click CO-PILOT CONTROL (AI) and click OFF, so you can request pushback by manual..
Brooo Respect! When the game crashed that was hilarious because the look on your face was priceless🤣🤣 that’s exactly how I feel when I get that far and the game crashes smh great game jus hate when it crashes like that….Thank you for these videos tho I’m learning a lot from you appreciate you bro 🤙🏾🤟🏾
Nice vid! good to see real extra steps from Real Pilots. I am using same Thrust master setup as yours. Actually the red button on the stick can disconnect the auto pilot. (You may already know but just chose to override by input.)
Thanks for the great video. I didn't catch which A320 you were flying, but the Fenix A320 is absolutely incredible. The Saitek / Logitech rudder pedals are excellent. No feedback, but with a bit of practice, you can accurately modulate braking force for nice smooth taxiing.
Why are you skipping topics at all in this movie? For us, non pilots, everything is interesting and important what a real pilot does in these circumstances. So please show it to us !!!!
hi bro i want to be a pilot, and i just started to play MSFS, would you recomend to play it as it is real life to learn more about planes and have an advantage when studing for being a pilot? thanks and nice video man!
When you say you fly an A320 NEO, do you know what engine your plane is running? I make parts for the PW1100G which is one of the engines used on some of the NEO's. NEO Stands for New Engine Option, for those who don't know. Pretty cool to get to see a pilot who possibly fly's the engines I make! :)
the engines are written on the first page of the flight management system when you turn on the aircraft. So the pilot will know what engine he's flying when he gets on.
