Love watching your videos Dr. Lori. I purchased a piece of pottery from the thrift store a few months back and after some research of the stamp on the bottom I was amazed that I had purchased a piece of Hillcrock pottery made by the Scheivers. Also found that Hillcrock pottery was only opened for around a year or so in the late 1930’s. I bought the piece because I loved the look of it and was amazed afterwards of the history behind it. Thank you for your videos and teaching us to research and learn about the items.

I recently bought a bag of "junk" jewelry for $8 at a thrift store and found a beautiful 14k gold Mikimoto tie bar with 4 pearls and a black accent in the middle! I nearly fell off my chair when I found it! Not bad for the price!!😂

I inherited my mother's Mikimoto pearls. I remember when my dad bought them. He bought them while on R&R in Vietnam. He had me go and buy matching earrings. They are 18 inches

Eve if i could wear 16" necklae I woukd not feel comfortable wearinf them. 18" mibimum. I like 20+ chains.....mainly because if sweaters and necklines of tops. I wear a min. 7 1/2 bracelet. Tough in bangles. Jewelry is so personable. I. L O V E jewelry....who doesent? I love accessories! Shoes, purses, scarves, jackets - coats. ALL ACCESSORIES.

We have a leaping fawn watercolor by Tahoma '49. I can't find this one online.

My favorite thrift store recently hired someone who works at the store in exchange for merchandise. This worker then sells the cherry-picked items on Ebay. One day I observed this worker carrying a HUGE bag of merch out to her car. The next day I observed her carry five bags of merch out to her car. I've noticed there just isn't any smalls left worth buying at the thrift store because this worker is cherry-picking all the good stuff. Having all of the good merch already taken from the store has taken all the fun out of even going there. I mentioned my disappointment to the manager who didn't seem to care. I used to spend quite a bit of money at that thrift store. Not anymore. Lori -- I'd like to know what you think about this.

I bought a bunch of wrist watches from a box lot auction the person who owned them was a watch maker all the batteries are dead and some of the watches are Rolex and Timex it's about 20lbs I wonder if any of them are valuable. I do t know about the rolexs I think there's 3 of them but there in pieces like I have a Rolex wrist band and a Rolex face
