Now I have a Machine Gun. Ho Ho Ho!
Here's my first mission I created in DCS. Enemy ADA is in the area. Gotta fly low.
*NOTE* The methods and tactics used in this video are for entertainment purposes only and do not reflect the actual methods and tactics used my the US military. This is a simulator and a game and these tactics are useful for successful missions within the realm of DCS World.
Also, I've never flown a DAPS Hawk IRL. But sure is fun in DCS!

Great mission, I had faith in your combat abilities and the outcome was never in doubt. And about 2 minutes from being seated to being airborne, excluding external checks, is that a typical amount of time from everything switched off to being airborne.

Depends. But you can start up a 60L that quickly. IRL, I would take more time to check everything. But if **** was hitting the fan, you can get it spun up quick.

If you fly that hawk any lower, you will need 4x4. You got some skillz boo. I always loved how skilled of our pilots were. Most of our guys cut their teeth in Vietnam. What a blast it was to crew for them.

Eagle Dynamics has to bring the UH-60 Black Hawk as a Module! Hope in the next 2-3 Years . CH-47 will definitely be good, but a UH-60 would be more important. 😁

Great video! Ive got an employee who is a National Guard UH 60 pilot. Ive thought about having him over to try the mod. Do you think its a decent approximation of the real aircraft?

Loved that! I’ve been trying to get the weapons added to the UH-60 in DCS but it seems no matter how I install it, even exactly as the instructions say, my view is all messed up, looks like I’m looking through a peep hole on a door and I lose engine sound once going from idle to fly. Can’t seem to figure it out.

Not sure about your view. You in VR? If so, just press NUM pad 5 and should center it up. As for the sound, I had the same problem. Found a fix on a discord server. Send me an email at the address on my about page and I'll send it to you.

Hey, did you have any luck with this? Was trying to follow the instructions to load the minigun mod and then Armed Black Hawk mod. Could get some of the assets in-game by copying over the files into the "right(?)" folders. Liveries, loadouts, gunsight, etc. present, but couldn't get anything to fire. And like you, the rotor sound went. Would love to hear if you got it sorted!
