Bruce Lee had it right. He learned fast AND did well because he always put himself into it. He always put his own personal style and self into his martial arts, which led him to making a style that is totally unique to anyone who practices it. He was a TRUE master through and through
I love it when everybody runs at Bruce for a punch not even trying to hit him, specially when the action is so close that all you see is his face and imagine the mayhem unfold.

Bruce Lees style was called no style, he knew the best counter attacks for anything you could throw at him, best real life self defense style other than BJJ for ground fighting
According to what some sites show, he had a kind of super human strength because of how he trained. He was incredibly strong for his weight class and twice as fast as he was strong. Can't remember everything, but he could take down pretty much anyone when he was alive because of how he trained.

He's one of the most respected choreographers in the world. You can tell Jackie Chan has training. I know he's old now, but look at Jackie's old movies. He is DAMN fast :]

His training partners said that at his prime, he was doing bicep curls with 70 to 80 lbs., three sets of eight. He could also hold his whole body horizontal by his shoulder blades. He had a lot of strong, lean muscle for his weight.
Bruce Lee is about as ultimate it gets but they possess different talents. Jackie Chan is amazing with hhis stunts and Jet li i could watch all day the way he makes it look so like an art form.

After decades of watching kung fu and martial arts movies and studying a few disciplines myself, i think i am finally starting to admit some of the ridiculousness of some of these moves and scenarios
All three of these guys are awesome, however Bruce is the overall best fighter out of all of them and would be the best in real life. However, I love Jackie Chan for his humor and amazing stunts, and Jet Li for his outright rage, aggression, and craziness he displays in his fights. Jet Li's fights are usually the closest to how a fight would really go down outside the movies lol.
you really notice how respectfull bruce was when he fought the oponent. for example the match when he had the boxing gloves or whatever it is, he never hit them when they are down, he waits until they stand up again. he did so in every movie I think. jackie and Li did it to. but bruce shows it more, in my opinion

Bruce lee is brute force, he just hits hard. Jet li hits hard when he wont get hit. Jackie Chain just evades. Hitting him is like trying to shoot a butterfly with a rifle right in front of you.
Bruce lee's films are like comics, most of the tricks are unreal to make them work in a real life, thats just how it goes, thise are just films and movies.
There is a fine example of Bruce Lee's extraordinary abilities on you tube. There is a 2 part video of him playing ping pong with nunchucks. Those that have not seen it should watch. He is not only winning, he is placing the ball and putting rotation on it....strategically. It is just one of a kind type of remarkable, then lighting matches with them. If I did not see that, I would not believe it was humanly possible ever. He is just the type of talent that does not come every generation. sorry.
lol They actually had to slow down a lot of parts in Bruce Lee's movies because he'd do something so fast that audiences would often miss it. I remember Jackie Chan talking about him and you know Jackie Chan is crazy fast and scrappy. He said in an interview that he was blown away at how fast Bruce was. He said you can't intentionally stop what you can't see coming and that Bruce was so fast that he could put you out while you blinked.
Bruce lee had to have been strong to be able to beat chuck norris i mean chuck is like god and yet bruce lee kicked the shit out of him, but thats because of how determined he was and how much he trained and the way he trained. alot of people think that he was good cuzz he knew martial arts but martial arts is only for certain people and i tried karate and it was bad for me so i just worked out and trained and developed my own fighting style. but anyways i'm glad to see people that like em all
The difference between the 3, in my opinion, is Jackie focus on comedy, Bruce focuses on realism and Jet focuses on more aesthetic combat. In real life Bruce would perhaps be the most versatile of the 3, though Jet is one of the most decorated martial arts-practicioner alive.
bruce lee was untouchable not only in movies li and chan know that bruce wasnt even human ok so its not as jazzed up but it was raw from bruce and awesome truly the greatest of all and i mean all
I wouldn't be surprised if Li would be able to beat Lee, but even if Lee were still alive, he'd turn down the opportunity anyway; there's nothing to prove.
The Martial Artists: Jackie Chan can beat you while drunk. Jet Li will stand there and have you attempt to hurt him. Bruce Lee shows no mercy and can kill anyone in anyway. Great video to show how they work!
Jackie,bruce and jet are equal.And by the way its not bruce that did the fancy backflipp kick on bob wall,that was jackies brother.I read that in a swedish magasin named fighter 10 years ago.Bruce couldent do things like that.He knew the basic but introdus kungfu to the world and he is a true legend.Really cool video peace.
That being said, Bruce Lee was a martial arts innovoter, who created his own martial arts system, the very first mma style. Jeet kune do, he also is a master of Wing tsun, and several other forms of kung fu. He also studied judo, savante, boxing, fencing, and several other arts from around the world. He is lauded by other great martial arts masters, as being THE BEST THEY HAVE EVER SEEN. Jhoon Ree, Billy Blanks, Chuck Norris, Danny Insoto, Bill superfeet wallace, etc, all say he is the best.
Bruce is definitely the best. He might not be as flashy looking as the other two, but he's ten times more effective. I mean really, who would you rather be: the guy who takes out his opponents with a single punch or the guy who flips around and smacks people but always takes ten minutes to finish everyone off?

Jackie Chan: Drunken Master I(1978) & II(1994); Bruce Lee: Enter the Dragon(1973); Jet Li: Fist of Legend(1994). People, each of them has his own style. And each of them is pretty fast. EVERY serious & experienced martial artist is fast. Try "Tommy Carruthers" for example. And when The Forbidden Kingdom was filmed, Jackie said that he & Jet Li were asked to slow down their moves because the camera wasn`t able to catch it("Jackie Chan interview for The Forbidden Kingdom"). Respect to all of them.
All three of them are masters in both movie and real life. You can try to fight anyone of these three if you dare, I bet you won't even have strength to go around and look for your teeth!!!
The first thing you learn is if someone wants to fight you, you leave. No true MA goes LOOKING for a fight. Now if you're with a kid or someone else who can't protect themselves, then you stay and fight. But the first thing you do is try and defuse the situation, through talk or just plain leaving. The only person I have ever seen do this in movies is Jackie Chan. He always runs away and then is cornered and forced to fight. In my book, this makes him the only TRUE MA in Hollywood.
