I checked my new converse i bought yesterday, they are real! Happy about it cuz my parents had to pay 70 euros for them. And wow! I have the exact same shoes and packaging like in the video but my shoes size probably isnt the same. So grateful for these Converse! 😌
Hey! Thanks for your comment! You have a point there - they do look quite similar. What I found is the fakes actually feel awful when you walk in them and don't provide decent arch support at all - if you aren't worried about comfort it's no big deal, but for me the fakes really do suck. The canvas the fakes are made with is cheap feeling too and has bad breathability, which leads to sweaty feet and blisters. It rubs quite a bit, whereas real Converse have excellent quality canvas. At the end of the day it's about what you can afford! Not everyone can shell out for a real pair. If you can though, it's really worth it for the comfort and how much longer the real pair last. The fakes will burnt out in no time, meaning you'll have to buy more, more often, which can end up adding up. I found the fakes I accidentally bought were actually around half the price of the real thing (they were $32 and the real chucks are $65) - I thought I found a deal but I got duped. Your $9 fake converse break after 1 week of walking just like any other chinese canvas shoes. Original converse are high quality. Yes, the price is too high but you can buy a pair from second hand
Imitations can be very good. I have a pair more than 5 years old and they are still perfect. I prefer the originals for going out and the copies for training or being at home.

I really wish Converse would come out with a round toed version of their shoes for people like me. Their shoes are too pointy, my foot has a narrow heel/arch with a round toe box.

Wow there are a lot of fake converse selling 2nd hand. Loads have the little star O. However a few years ago from next I bought converse and they had a star O too so maybe some people genuinely don't know what are real and fake sometimes
@@earshotly1424 the earlier converse had the star but i think they stoped making them,, so it would be pretty normal to see second hand converse with the star in the o

Yes you are totally right! There are a few differences in the pairs from the early 00s, including the ® symbol should not be present in patches made after 2008, but before then it was featured. If you have a pair of pre 2008 Converse you should consider checking out their worth as they are collectors items now! My Chuck's don't have the vent holes on the side and elastic holding the tongue in place and a star in the "O" , got them from the Converse store . Are they fake ?
Real Converse Chucks are still flat and unsupportive for my feet and I always end up buying insoles for them. Where can I get these $10 knock offs? 🤣 I'm also about to run all over my house to check all my Converse shoes!
Many people buys fakes because they feel like it’s the same. But I prefer buying the real thing cause if you do they are gonna last longer so you don’t have to slowly spend more money on new shoes. They are more comfortable and doesn’t hurt when you walk.

I wanna ask, I just bought a pair of converse second hand and they are in a really good quality, but on the heel patch it says All★star instead of converse All★star and inside it has the same text as you showed on the fake ones byt it's printed really good and it's in black not blue and doesn't have the small r in the circle there, I tried doing some research and I saw the just All★star only when I searched vintage converse from the 90's even tho my don't look that old, maybe if they've been only sitting in a box the whole time they could be in this condition. They don’t look brand new they are little worn out but not that much, is there a chance they might be vintage or is it a fake? My left chucks has a different serial number from the right one. - The right chucks has a name tag thing on its tongue where as the left one doesn’t have. - Is it normal that there’s a tad bit unevenness with the stitching and size of toe pad? In a given pair, both shoes (your left and right shoe) should have a DIFFERENT code on the label that is stitched on the inner side of the shoe tongue. They will be similar .. but NOT THE SAME. with a difference in a few numbers here and there. This provides unique identification to each shoe or each leg - left or right. If the pair that you have bought shows EXACTLY the same code in both legs, then it is likely that it is a duplicate one. This code will be of around 12 - 14 digits. Each Converse product should also have an assigned style code with about 6 digits and one or two alphabets at the end For example 150767C. This code will be printed on the shoe, on the inner side of the tongue as well as the box. Absence of this code means the product is not authentic. The box of an authentic Converse shoe will have numerous logos of "all star" "chuck taylor" "Cons" etc. printed on the inner walls of the box. The logo of Converse printed anywhere on the shoe DOES NOT have a star anymore inside the letter O. Company has stopped putting a star in the word Converse since 2018.

@@zwnjj I bought mine like a year ago. They're definitely not in good condition, although i've seen my friends wear worse shoes, bc they can't get over them. Same thing w me, I love them a lot but water gets in them so I just walk around with wet feet.

Because Nike are greedy bastards, they know the demand for them is big so they up the cost of the product because they know people will still pay! If people.stopped.wearing them.then they would bring the price down. Chuck 70s are the better quality version which in reality is what we should be getting for the rediculous price they charge us for the classic How they call the version we all buy the classic I have no idea seeing as the chuck 70 is really the classic.. They now sell the chuck 70 way higher priced than the classic, a clear indicator to they are cheating the public but that's what happens when Nike buy out company's!
Import charges suck ass, man. Here in the states the regular All Stars are pretty cheap because the quality is kinda mid. Luckily all of their shoes are relatively affordable here so their pricier stuff is definitely worth the money
