There are very few moments in a video game where it almost broke me. Whenever you talking to Alice, I almost broke because I can’t imagine the horrors she had to live through, and after she gave you the key to her chest and you started going through the drawings, this just saddens me even more; I had to pause the video for a minute and collect myself back up. Everyone says, “It’S jUsT a GaMe;” sometimes, games can be really well done that you can form emotions to a fictional character and it’s just sad to see what Alice and Kara had to go through. Todd is just one of those people that have a face I want to punch for how he treats his daughter, but at the same time, his family is torn apart and I get why he is mad, but you shouldn’t ever take your anger out on your own daughter that barely knows anything.
You should ideally play the story all the way through one time and then if you want you can go back to replay missions and see the different outcomes. In my opinion, half the fun of games like these is to see which ending you end up with in your first time playing and then the other half is to explore all the other endings. If you do one mission and then replay it over and over until you get all the outcomes, you will be missing the first half of the fun. :)
I love games like this, games with options that change the story options that could kill one or save one. Games with the butterfly affect and not just one outcome are my favorite
You definitely should try out True Crime: New York or True Crime: Streets Of LA. These are GTA alike games but with a law enforcer perspective and the stories were so good, hope you try it out!
I loved those games as well but has anyone else gone back and played them recently? I have and while I'll say that the games are a ton of fun I can't tell you the story is good without lying. Especially in the first game (Streets of LA) the story is so convoluted and downright insane that if It was a few missions shorter it would actually be so bad of a story that the unintentional comedy would be enough to say the story was enjoyable but towards the end I was just thinking "why isn't this wrapped up yet?". The second game (Streets of New York) is honestly hard to remember anything because I think it failed to keep the player (maybe just me) caring about a lot of what was happening as far as the story went. That being said I would say give at least L.A a go and be ready to play the big hand-to-hand sequences that end each of the 3 acts in the story more than a few times. The second and third act finales at least gave me a bit of trouble as an adult. As a kid they gave me such a terrible time that for a while I just became content with the mission being failed and the story having a tragic ending. I only wanted to give my thought because the original comment says "the stories were so good" and I have to say that completely disagree. I'm glad some people liked them, I wish I could into it but a certain long finger nailed character and a couple of FREAKING DRAGONS show up to turn thing kinda weird and to pull me out of the story completely even though that was my favorite part of the entire game.
I think you should break it into section but 3 chapters per videos, same with this one where you showed 2 chapters, because if you're going it 1-by-1 it's going to take a very long time, not to mention if you're even planning to do other routes in the future. Keep up the good work, it was fun watching
Those options, in "Shades of Color" I can give a hint, watching your first video, got me replaying the game too. One of my favorite games, multiple playthroughs and definitely, an emotional game. One of the few I have 100% completion for, worth it though. Oh, and the camera angles are definitely something to get used too.....explore EVERYTHING!!
If you want to do longer episodes, feel free to! There are gaming youtubers who do 10 minute episodes, ones who do 20 minutes, and some go up to 2 hour episodes or longer. Whatever you feel is the comfortable cutoff point for you, experiment with it a bit and find what works for you, people will watch.

Just want to suggest a game for a future for you to play, there is this game called *Murdered: Soul Suspect* , it's about detective who gets murdered by masked serial killer at the beginning of the game and then you playing as ghost of said detective should find out who was the killer that killed you.
This kind of games specially this one it's made to be like a movie, and you know when an actor did a good job it's when you hate or don't like a character xD
Not enough likes (not trash-talking viewers for a low likes-to-views ratio, low likes just seem inappropriate for good content that people worked on). Unless you hate this guy (in which case, why are you watching?), just go ahead & click Like as soon as you start one of his videos. Maybe the video hasn't literally "earned" your like in the first second, but with these inappropriately low numbers, the video still "deserves" your like if you like Chris at all -- in my opinion.
The real question is, if I quickly click through this playlist and like every video, is the negative impact on the "sticking around and watching" stat (I think the key breakpoint is around 8 or 10 minutes?) greater than the positive impact of the likes? And if I then go back and watch the videos all the way through, do I go from counting as a viewer who clicked away immediately to counting as a viewer who watched 100% or is it largely about "first impressions" or is it more complicated than that? Total "viewer-hours" is definitely a thing, but idk how much it impacts discoverability. /rant
There's been history of technology taking jobs, immigrants taking jobs, but the real issue isn't that these jobs are being done by AI, it's that the humans, who are unemployed, did not build themselves up to be able to be competitive and necessary for a company to hire them. They should've known Androids were coming, I'm sure it was a long process, with all the black tape surrounding it. Just like this day and age, you lose your job to better candidates, but they don't complain about that.
A man who loses his job, his wife is literally losing his mind but for the girls sake, you can only hope he gets better. She needs to be with child services until he fixes his life up. She needs her dad.

And by the way, the subject of domestic abuse was handled way better in Wolfenstein: the new Colossus. This just feels pointlessly cruel to the player, not showing why somebody would stay in an abusive relationship & filling you with negativity. No nuance or complexity, by comparison to Wolfenstein, which is impressive and how it handles the subject matter tastefully. "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus also features scenes of domestic violence, ones that hit even closer to home. While still heavy handed, there was just enough subtlety going on that a real sense of menace became palpable. There were things happening that authentically distressed me, because I’d been there. Scenes in Wolfenstein II really did get to me - hell, it bordered on genuinely offending me. Yet I’m not here criticizing those scenes. They weren’t used in trailers to hype up the release and get people talking. They weren’t so poorly scripted as to almost provide a comical portrayal. " TLDR they didn't think a lot of this though if they weren't trying to be political & the domestic Abuse Is A Hackneyed Farce.
I had similar thoughts about this game as well. I my own opinion I think a lot of what they were going for is good but I don't like how they did it - like you said, no nuance or complexity. I felt that the political side of the game was a bit unrealistic, like they wanted to show that all humans would just be hateful idiots or something. idk I could be wrong but that's how I feel about it
