Welcome to my series on Police Simulator: Patrol Officers where I will play through the game and give my perspective as a real life police officer. Gamer Cop #police #policeofficersimulator #policesimulator
But it is still so much fun to play. I bet it's great to have the day off and away from the station to come home and be a cop on a game. Thag would be the life for me.
Notable achievements: Be called to the same residence 3 times in one shift. Arrest disorderly drunk female who spits on you and pees in your car. Get called out by your supervisor for writing the councilmans daughter a ticket. Catch a wreck call 5 minutes before your shift ends.
I always loved to explain to civilians that when driving a police vehicle the normal traffic rules don’t apply. But if you want me to drive 25mph when trying to hurry to your robbery or disturbance I will.
@@jamieh4148 errmmm accurate errmmmm guys i’m not a cop but this is so accurate i know everything you guys i know every single cop in the world guys ☝️🤓

"That's Jaywalking? She was on the street for half a second, I wouldn't talk to someone over that." *She is angry* "Oh you are angry? Here's a ticket then!"
It looks like an awesome car to drive in the middle of a city, as long as nothing bad happens. You better not collide even with a 50cc scooter, though. Where I live, the police patrols the city center also by riding e-bikes. As long as it's not raining, that ought to be both a pleasure and highly convenient.
Fellow cop here. The main complaint i have about this game from at least when i was playing it a while back was that one big aspect it does not simulate is the officer safety part of our job. Theres never a danger to your character or any violent crimes to respond to. It is pretty good at stimulating the more minute and mundane stuff we do lol. Also as you saw with the frisking the game is a bit inaccurate with proper reasonable suspicion and probable cause.
@@lordkiza8838 officer safety is kinda hard to explain if not an officer but basically he is saying it doesn't simulate safety issue with the officer such as getting shot at,fights anything to put the safety of the the officer at risk
I'm a security officer lol and used to be a patrol security officer xd being sent out for demestics to simply tell them to be quite, without anything to protect ourselves from potential issues with being shot at it always bothered me that the company never thought of our saftey just the vehicles saftey 😂
If they are fully on the sidewalk, issue violation under "Special Parking Zones" then "No Parking Zone". If they are mostly on the road, with wheels on the sidewalk, you would use the "Position and Alignment" and "Parking on a Sidewalk" violation. Confusing, I know...
“That person just littered. Unbelievable! You sir! Hey, criminal!” *Later* “you gunna litter, buddy?” *Later again* “Watching these criminal littering crazy people here…” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Your devotion to stop littering is admirable, sir.
I really enjoy playing Police Simulator, but I do have to say that the release of 1.0 has introduced a ton of new bugs and sadly this probably is the worst time to be getting into it. I would really encourage playing on simulation mode for a more realistic experience and then maybe turning certain penalties off that hinder your experience. Once you really learn and understand the quirks of the game it is really good, but like I said 1.0 is probably the worst time to get into it due to all the new bugs introduced. Jaywalking is still an odd thing for me as it is not a thing where I come from, I usually just give them a warning if I can be bothered to stop them at all. Just because you are able to do something does not mean you need to do it if you don't feel it is right to do. I rarely frisk anyone, but I do a full search if I arrest them. I try to approach the game as if I were actually a police officer, I can't be in real life due to my disabilities so for me this game is a great way to experience a glimpse of it. We now need a police tractor in the game now that you're playing it....
I'm also a police officer (K9 Unit), for this game i found it half way accurate to real life, there's definatly things that could be better but for the most part, it's pretty cool
Thank you for your service Officer! It’s a crazy world we live in, stay safe out there. Thank you for continuing to protect and provide for our communities.
Picked up this game, cracks me up how much you violate NPC's rights is hilarious in this game, Great to hear you having a good chuckle over the game too. Fun game to not take to seriously.
It continues a long tradition of violating the rights of NPCs in games. It's actually pretty tame compared to, say, Skyrim, where you can axe-murder someone for being rude to you and then tell the arresting guards to back off because you're a mildly important member of the social hierarchy.
The jaywalkin bit is killing me. My crew and I were in Long Beach CA working. My laborer walked 2 blocks away to 711. Streets everywhere had construction around there. My laborer wearing a safety vest went from the sidewalk into the street to pass sidewalk construction and a cop gave him a jaywalking ticket. Best ridiculous cop story I ever experienced
My dad was on his way to work. He was just inside the fence line following a rail track that went straight past his maintenance shed. A security guard raced across the tracks and started yelling at him about being in danger and so on. Dad pointed out that he was about 15 feet from the track while the guard was standing on it. The guards response, “yeah but i have a vest on!” Theres being safe and theres ticking boxes. I got in the shit one day for not wearing a vest. I was in an empty locked compound, i was the only one in it, but apparently i was still putting myself in danger for not being visible.
that's crazy... I've seen people jaywalk directly in front of the Long Beach police station all the time, directly in front of cops, and not get a second look
First off I want to say thank you for your service! If The lady that jaywalked for about half a second if not less never brought up her lawyer she could’ve gotten away with a verbal warning😂that was a good call on your end lmao…these damn Brighton civilians are something else 😂😂😂
Hey this is interesting I would love to see more videos. I'm an EMT and work alongside PD. Maybe for an expansion Idea is to add ems and then add fire so all first responders can get some love 😊
This will never be accurate unless they add everyone recording each police encounter with their phone. Then everyone yelling and "lawyering" at the cops.
I pointed out a lot of these issues to the developers a LONG time ago on their discord... seemed to mostly go unheard. Made me really sad because it could be a fun game for normies... as a police officer, it's a little much to work and then pretend work in a game...
Not gonna lie, I was like man this guy sounds like farmer cop until I read the page description and realized it was you 🤣!! Didn’t know you had a second channel! Kinda pumped that I found it. Been on the fence about this game until now
I have a police question how do you use the police light? and is it hard being an officer? and just saying thank you for protecting the world it’s a crazy world out here without you and the other officers we would be in danger, so thank you❤❤❤
It defnitely can be difficult to be a police officer, we experience and see a lot of trauma which weighs on us. You simply flicka switch in the car and they turn on, when you use them is to respond to emergencies or to pull people over
Hey, I've been active duty navy for 6 years and really am considering a career in law enforcement once I get out. Is there anyway I can contact you and ask you some questions/advice? Thank you. Great video by the way
Absolutely, this is a link to my discord for my main channel (Farmer Cop) just shoot me a message on here and ill get back to you! discord.com/invite/NFjRdVZf
Me and my cousin started playing this. Got bored at like 2 am and we got chinese eyes and then started arresting people for bogus shit and having a blast even though we had to start over after being reported by the people we arrested. Lost it when he started playing the “bad boys” cops theme song on his phone while we did that and it was hilarious We did play it right to progress it but we wanted to see how much we could get away with and it’s not much at all. this is a by the book simulator😂😂😂
I do love this game though, I had a little experience as an explorer and also had law enforcement class as an elective in high school. The teacher was a former vice officer with some pretty cool stories and had even had appearance on the show Cops
Great video! Cool to see a real cop's insight to the game. Oh and please... if you ever move to the UK and become a cop, please start arresting jaywalkers... they make us trucker's lives a nightmare haha!
"I've to detain you because I saw you stabbing that child" "Doesn't everyone do that?" "I'm going to cuff for murder, please stay on the sidewalk" "Aawwww please don't, officer" :(
Yea it’s wild some Europeans made this game. You can tell they don’t know much about how we do things in America, like how they tell you to just frisk people and deduct points for ticketing AND towing cars 😂🤦🏻♂️
You have to remember this game was developed by a German developer. The city of Brighton, where the game takes place, I believe is supposed to be a U.S. city. But the developers based the laws and the way things the officer does on German laws and policies.
Frisking is legal for any detention (granted your department policies may not allow it), it just requires a consistently applied rationale for doing so that's related to officer safety and is limited purely to weapons. You got away with basically frisking everyone (You work for NYPD?) but it didn't say you were required to frisk, just that you could if you thought you should. However the game kinda confuses 'searching for illegal items' with 'I want to know if you have a weapon while you're detained so I don't have to worry about you pulling it on me' so there's that. Have to say you did a lot of stuff you didn't call into dispatch about. That was probably your biggest no-no. You should be running those vehicles and people you're citing.
Yes! Its different then the ticket you would get from getting caught driving and it is probably different everywhere. But you can get a paeking ticket for having expired tabs in Washington and being parked on a public road. Your vehicle can also be towed if they are expired by more than 45 days
You know, I play ready or not. But as a cop in the real world, I can’t understand playing POLICE simulators. Maybe it’s because I do it 12 hours a day 😅
You know there is never and will never be a scenario in this game were you will EVER have to shoot someone. It’s not like rare or anything it’s non existent. The service weapon you have is just a prop that doesn’t look like a taser for you to order people to the ground with except the taser can be fired in some situations where as shooting someone with the gun Ever will result in an immediate Game Over due to cucked EU game ratings. To quote the devs and this should tell you how bassakwards they have this whole thing. “We are of course investigating other Non-Lethal uses of the firearm” That one sentence in itself blows my mind lol. Any of their US LEO consultants would be like wtf did you just say 😂 the firearm is never a Non Lethal use of force
When it comes to minor offences like parking and the like, is that a thing? Do coppers get a sense of achievement from issuing traffic fines? Or do they just go for worst case offenders and the ones that tick them off? I work security and have a ton of rules to enforce, which i do for the most part. But if someone accidentally causes a breach i’ll pull them up and make it right, but I’m unlikely to write a report on it. I only ever write formal reports if it’s a major breach, which usually means everyone knows about it anyway, or they give me the shits with their attitude. I hate paperwork, and i don’t like kicking a guy when he’s down.
When you hit “let go” I’ve learned that you’re literally taking away all violations and literally letting them go lol when you’re doing and they aren’t arrested I think you’re supposed to just walk away. Also to greet back you just get next Them and it’ll pop up “greet back” one more thing when you look at their license you can open up the other wheel and click police computer and it will show if they have a warrant gun permit or not if they’re insurance and all that is valid or not…
03:01 My desk officer looks like she’s half Yautja too ever since the Highway DLC dropped I’ve a feeling it’s related to the new uniform options as part of the DLC
Game just started and the game already is letting you violate people's rights. Someone really needs to make a police simulator where they have some actual officers helping with the realism and understanding of the way it works.
fun game! But I couldn't help but notice that at 18:20 a car was emitting black smoke could you have pulled that one over for something? Then at 21:32 as you ran across the street the blue truck there had a broken headlight. But hey still fun. I love these types of games. Have you played one called I am bread or I am fish?
This was the most comical video of police simulator I've ever seen 😂😂

Well frisking someone for jaywalking, before that she was cool and appologized, after frisking , they get angry and he does not get the memo…. Clearly a green frog
Lol the on sidewalk violation was in regards to two wheels on and two in the street. The special parking zone/ no parking is the appropriate one. I've screwed up so many times choosing the wrong violation lol especially for finding someone driving a stolen vehicle. I accidentally choose the option that means I caught them stealing instead lol
You are in Brighton, Massachusetts. the parking signs, they designate a day for street cleaning where people are not allowed to park on that particular day.
@@GamerCop you as well my friend. 7 years in and left due to injury. Glad I snagged my stripes before exiting. Stay safe and keep going with these videos. Cracking me up. Brings back memories lol
In Maine, where I am from, jay walking is encouraged 😂 pedestrians have the right of way, but are encouraged to use the crosswalk that way traffic will know to stop
