"Is super hearing possible?" IDK but sometimes lights are loud enough to send me into a meltdown. I also can hear most of what's happening on the street through my closed window and headphones, as well most of what's going on in my house.

How does body produce electricity? What are the mechanism creating electric signals in body?
@docoffcall
@docoffcall 3 года назад
Electrical signals are produced by depolarising and repolarising neurones in our nervous system. The basic physiology is to do with with exchange and movement of charged molecules like sodium and potassium ions across membranes. It's a very interesting topic and worth reading more about. Hope that helps Norlof 👍

@@docoffcall I am not a medical, but sometimes I am curious how human body can have mysteries in the body. All you bring now, from Dr. Stone is mind blowing. I never though something, I always thought that human body wouldn't produce electric. I always heard people shocked by electric eel and the hearth stopping. So molecules are exchanged, but how, since we have blood vessels and bones, to create electricity?

This reminds me of when I was tested for auditory processing issues. The video about voice, though. That one reminded me of the fact that, to this day, I still have ankyloglossia, or tongue-tie. Because they determined that it wasn't interfering with breastfeeding, I had to overcome a lisp in third grade(although that did give me a fun way to disguise my voice by reverting to the lisp), and I still can't kiss my partners properly. Still kind of annoyed about that.

What about OVER stimulation, be it from the inner ear, the auditory nerve(s), and/or the brain? I mean, sure, you have ear plugs to help block or dampen sound that can help. However, the person may need to remove said plugs to hear certain things, like speech. I doubt there's really any "good" solution for it.

Wait, sound travels through water and our bodies are mostly water. So sound can still affect us whether we hear it or not right?

To answer the questiim about hearing Their are people who can Tell what note a music is no matter where it comes from As people can have heightened hearing without needing to Lose another sense and from another video in a guy reacting to the technology of doctor stone he has a friend who has this heightened hearing. so the answer is its possible although I cant explain it exactly Given I know no-one like that.

Since you’ve watched all of S2 this isn’t a spoiler. I dunno if it’s a stupid question or is beyond your field of knowledge altogether, but during the time Tsukasa’s sister is in a coma she stays a child, she doesn’t grow at all, because we clearly see that during her coma Tsukasa goes from being a child himself to a young adult. So my question is, when you are “clinically brain dead” does your body just not grow period because it is essentially completely shut down? I mean in Erased (another great anime you should watch), **SPOILER ALERT** the main character goes into a coma as a child and then awakens years later in his adult body. Does it depend on the type of coma and how brain dead you are?

I'm no doctor. But as far as I'm aware a person who's brain dead is... Well, dead, you are never waking up from that. The brain is an essential part of growing, since it is responsible for the production of a few of the hormones responsible for growth. While a person in come may one day wake up.
@PikaLink91
@PikaLink91 2 года назад
@@construtordemundos3420 Makes sense, but when you are brain dead, do you not still have a pulse? I mean before the petrification Tsukasa was hellbent on using his new strength to earn money to keep his sister in the hospital, swearing he would someday find a way to save her. Would he have done that if she had been outright labeled as dead? Wouldn't he have then just buried her? It sounded to me like she was still technically alive, but that with current technology and medicine, there was no way to wake her up.
@construtordemundos3420
@construtordemundos3420 2 года назад
@@PikaLink91 there's a pulse, but the nervous system itself was no long active. If he had found a conventional way to bring her back... She would have had no memories of him. Now that I think about it, the fact that she was revived is a miracle caused by the petrification.
@PikaLink91
@PikaLink91 2 года назад
@@construtordemundos3420 Really? Is that really how it would have worked? That's terrible! Sorry but to me being forgotten would be worse than death. Yeah I have drawn the conclusion multiple times throughout the manga, that although Why-Man caused civilization to crumble and revert back to the stone age, he didn't exactly kill anyone, and being revived from petrification effective heals any ailment you might have had before. Everything from a broken neck to being brain dead. I know we don't know Why-Man's true identity or intentions yet, but what he did, in many respects, was a miracle, a blessing in disguise.
@construtordemundos3420
@construtordemundos3420 2 года назад
@@PikaLink91 the only reason I don't think it's a blessing is because if they had good intentions they would have de-petrified everyone the moment they petrified the world. The fact they kept everyone as stones makes me think that the healing effect is a side effect, not the original intention.
