What is the Holy Spirit? Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe the Holy Spirit-which we sometimes call the Holy Ghost or simply the Spirit-is the third member of the Godhead along with God the Father and Jesus Christ. When you follow Jesus Christ, you create room in your life for the Holy Ghost to comfort you, guide you, inspire you, warn you, and help you recognize the truth. To those that seek after god, he will answer. An eternal truth found throughout scripture and other places. I pray that myself and we all as humankind can derive opinions from the grand source of truth which is god our father. The holy spirit is how he manifest his answers at times; as the video states. I wonder if those who aggressively oppose uplifting sources such as these have taken the time to seek truth from god. Id wager that if they did, god would show his love and that this video and the church of jesus in general are uplifting, true, positive, so on. Takes effort to know but it's well worth it. Minimal effort required to reject and no knowledge obtained that way

Don't get a NIV bible 📖,.. It was written by Cainites. Get a King James bible 📖. My friend. Also See : Arnold Murray Masters degree, Master Sargeant, USMC Scholar. After 40 years on drugs ( Now clean) I've never thought 🤔 It would be possible. Our Father can 🙉 do anything for you 💕.

I’m not sure I understand your statement, and I’d like to request some clarification. The presence of the Holy Spirit is felt. Almost any feeling could be described as an emotion. Is peace an emotion? Is joy an emotion? Are comfort and confidence emotions? If the Spirit warns of danger, are the sensations of foreboding and alertness emotions? If someone is forgiven of their sins, are the profound sensations of relief and and renewal emotions? In the absence of an actual vision, how is the presence of the Holy Spirit experienced if not through emotions? I’m interested to hear your perspective. Thanks.

I suggest that Holy Ghost’s communication to us is God’s spirit speaking to our spirit, which often results in physical manifestations (warmth, comfort, certainty, etc). It is not a contrived human emotion or a physiological reaction within the body. That, as you point out, would not be truth being received or confirmed, but merely our own self-assurance. Happy to discuss further.

Luke 24 gives the wonderful feeling story about two disciples on the road to Emmaus. Matthew 16 gives the wonderful feeling story about how the identity of Jesus us revealed to Simon Peter. 1st Kings 19 tells the wonderful feeling story about Elijah and the Still Small Voice.

Yes true, it is not because you are feeling an emotion, that it is a manifestation of the Holy Ghost. However, communicating with Him often leads to physical reactions, such as emotions. Each person uniquely reacts to the Holy Ghost's manifestations, from having very clear thoughts to a warmth in the chest, A personal language.

The Holy Spirit is not unlike Xanax. I feel it at mass and with communion. Where Xanax feels clear and empty, the Holy Spirit feels clear, empty and somehow substantive… Peace with a light nourishment. The peace felt from communion can last all day. You’ll be lucky to get 2 1/2 hours out of Xanax.

Discovery: Biblical creation is not the creation of a material universe. The things of creation are metaphors for spiritual nature not material nature. Over time and experience Old Seers have found spiritual interpretations to be correct. Material creation is incorrect. There now exists two distinctly opposing understandings of biblical Creation. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. 1. Jesus isn't God. Mormons call Jesus the Son of God and say lots of things about him that the Bible says - that he was born of a virgin, that he died to atone for sins and rose again, etc. - but they also say he is a created being, directly contradicting biblical orthodoxy.
