*real* First Week As A New Real Estate Agent | Day In The Life of a Realtor 

My first month in the business I ordered 500 business cards and I went door to door in my neighbor hood and said I live down the street and I’m a local real estate agent and growing up down the street I know the area really well. I just wanted to introduce myself and give you my business card. I went to 120 houses and if nobody was home I left my card in the their mailbox. I got 7 solid leads and contacts and one conversion in the first month. Doesn’t hurt to get your feet wet and talk. Also, build relationships with local businesses and new housing developments. Leave a stack of cards at as many locations as possible. Also, apartment complex bulletin boards are great these people going into the office or common areas and eventually leave apartment life and into home buying now they have your card.

Awesome! I passed my test about 2 weeks ago, signed with KW here in the Destin, FL area. I'm waiting to be put into the system and get my logins so I can start prospecting. I'm excited and can't wait to start my journey. I started recording right after I signed with them. Thanks for the motivation!
