911 caused 50 Shades of Grey. And here's how. Gerard Way, the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, was in New York City as an intern for Cartoon Network. He saw the first plane hit the tower and decided to do more with his life and just be an intern in Cartoon Network. He formed My Chemical Romance. My Chemical Romance is the inspiration for Twilight. And we all know that Fifty Shades of Grey is a fanfic of Twilight. So yeah. That's one.
My room on my university campus having terrible wifi led to me mooching off the wifi at the campus library, becoming friendly with the employees there, and eventually landing a job there that I've been at since 2021. Normally I wouldn't be grateful that my wifi was terrible, but being as I now have a steady paycheck in a "legitimate" job instead of bouncing between off the books temp jobs, I'm kinda grateful for the abysmal internet access I had to suffer through.
The cancelation of Invader Zim directly led to the creation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It also partially inspired the game Portal and the show Steven Universe. So, while I'm sad it was cut short, I'm glad that good could come from it.
@@paxhumana2015 Disagree that those other things are forgettable. Avatar: TLA led to Dave Filoni getting hired by Lucasfilm to produce Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and becoming George's protege in general), in turn leading to him being EP on several series over the years but importantly The Mandalorian which gifted the world Baby Yoda aka Grogu. And the internet does not take kindly to talking smack about Grogu.
My mother got married at the age of 17 in the 1940's because she became pregnant. Her husband was so abusive to her that her son was stillborn. They divorced as there was no longer a reason to stay married. Three years later, my mother met my dad at a Jitterbug contest. They were married until my father's death in 2000. My brother, me and my sister were born because our half brother died. 😳
I am so sorry for your mom and you all, Melanie Mills. Still, she found a better man and I hope that the a s s h o l e that had abused her got even worse treatment inside of a prison.
@paxhumana2015 ...well it was the 1940's in West Virginia so I'm sure no charges were ever filed against him...no such thing as domestic violence back then...😒
When I was in college I lived in Boston and I'd go to this mall close to where the Boston Marathon usually takes place. I actually agreed to meet up with some friends by a store across the mall to go walk around 2:30pm-2:40pm. At around 10am they called me for work because ppl weren't able to make it due to the marathon happening so I had to do a 11-7 shift. I had to cancel my plans and all my friends decided to stay home as well since they heard me say it was difficult to get by in train. I used to work at a restaurant walking distance to my house and they were showing the marathon...I still remember how aghast I was when the bombs exploded right by the place we planned to meet up 15 minutes prior...if I went I would probably not be here.
So many of these were insane stretches of the imagination or completely misinformed with how WW1 started or how one event in history resulted in a completely unrelated event. I really enjoyed the wholesome ones though!
If Arthur had lived and Catherine had listened when the pope told her to stop fasting for the sake of her unborn babies, the last 521 years of history would be vastly different...
6:00, sometimes, adversity leads to a person being tested and becoming a better person in the end, and that said person ends up getting a blessing in their lives.
2:42, this is not a Butterfly Effect moment per se, but, in German, as well as several other, languages, the world "Hitler", as well as other related variants of that word, actually means "Chamberlain", and, in the UK, the predecessor of Sir Winston Churchill was Sir Neville Chamberlain, so, in essence, the Allied Forces and the Axis Powers BOTH technically had major figures that were involved that had the last name of Chamberlain.
1:15, I have a saying that fits here and that is, "The smallest of kind gifts can turn into the greatest of blessings". I am glad that you have a job that you not only love, but that you also made some friends, that you have financial security, and that your girlfriend has stayed by you (and hopefully has become your wife by now).
My butterfly moments were in high school whenever report cards came out as my grades were not good because my records were lost in transferring me from one school to another due to zoning ordinances in Chicago at the time.
Bro ok so I kinda have 2. The first is I was bored and scrolling through this Instagram acct and I saw the guy had posted something about his mom's college. And it sounded familiar to me. So I googled it. And long story short if I hadn't been scrolling and seen that post idk where I would be today. The second is I met this guy on a pre college program and we've stayed frienss over the past 1.5 years and talking to him encouraged me to join the ministry I'm in now and I met some really cool people, made a close friend through that, and also got connected with other friends through that. And I have a crush on him now but he doesn't like me back so I'm sad about it
YAHWEH EL ELOHIM made kismet happen to you, Catarina, and He always knew the plans that He has for you before you were even formed in the womb. He will also either draw that other person closer to you in your life or He will cause a better man to enter into your life...you just got to ask Him what His Will is for your life and then tell Him about these things, and then He will take the appropriate action to you.
I was bored waiting for the bus home from work and decided to check a dating app I hadn't looked at in three months, and probably delete it. One message seemed Interesting so I thought "what the heck I'll write back". Surprisingly the person responded immediately. We'll be celebrating our third wedding anniversary in a month.
@@evilarchconservative2952 they were kids when the ww2 happened and taken to German family. Dunno more because I never asked. Just found some documents
@@evilarchconservative2952 , well, let us look at the time...they were in a war zone, they were children, and the Nazis either destroyed the official records of Germany, as well as other nations, in their conquests, or as they were being defeated, in order to hide the evidence of their crimes, so, naturally, documentation of those things would most likely not exist.
Me again: This zoning ordinance occurred in my 2nd year as a sophomore. I HAD to take two courses of everything in my junior year which made things difficult for me.
4:12, ironically, in another universe, a Jack Ryan DID, in fact, become a President of the United States, and a pretty good one, too, like way better than Obama. (Is anyone a Tom Clancy fan, by chance?)
5:03, and the shameless antics of Justin Roiland ironically led himself to having his own sexual and domestic abuse charges, as well as himself getting fired from his own show.
I have one the summer before going into my senior year of hs I was going to be playing my 4th year of hs football I was pretty terrible during the summer we scrimmage a team but I still sat the bench so I was like after that screw this I’m quitting football to play golf once golf was over I got a job at UPS where I still work at today as a delivery driver if I would of never quit football I would probably not have worked at ups and wouldn’t have this career
16:09, some people stupidly say that parallel dimensions and universes do not exist, yet the fact that, because various decisions that not only you, but also others, and your ancestors, have made, theoretically could lead to numerous dimensions, and that is BEFORE other people, and YAHWEH EL ELOHIM Himself are factored into things.
Donald Trump has done wonders for the psychology profession. People pretending he affected their life caused a boom in the Industry... well boom isn't the word but you know
21:45, actually, Catholics, as well as many other so-called "Christian" denominations, as well as so-called "Jewish" divisions, and ACTUAL Christians and Jews, view life like some, strangely enough, EASTERN societies do, namely, that they consider conception as actual birth instead of the post-gestational part of the life of a child, hence why people HATE abortion, and why Catholics, and, even more so, ACTUAL Christians and Jews, also hate any form of birth control other than abstinence, that, and the forms of birth control tend to fail, as well as cause many harmful side effects, ranging from allergies to the outright deaths of their users.
Boy you just know the people bringing Trump up in these posts were trying their damnest to farm karma. Because we all know if you bring up Trump in a negative context on reddit, all the barking seals will just lap it up.
