To celebrate the release of the new Haunted Mansion movie from Disney we traveled to the real life Haunted Mansion in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania. Here in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania we got to see Disney Haunted Mansion in Real Life! The Harry Packer Mansion is the architectural influence of the Disney World Haunted Mansion that we all know and love at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Florida.
The Harry Packer Mansion Inn is a bed and breakfast and visitors can step inside this beautiful victorian mansion. The Mansion is also home to Libations Lounge where you can grab a cocktail inside of this historical mansion.
In this travel vlog we arrive in the town of Jim Thorpe PA and begin the day by exploring the shops and cafes the town has to offer. We got a coffee at the Muggles Mug Cafe which is a Harry Potter themed coffee shop. So not only do you have the Disney World touches in this town but there is even a bit of Universal Studios! We also enjoyed browsing through many of the stores before making our way up past the Asa Packer Mansion and then to the Harry Packer Mansion. As huge Disney fans this was such a treat for us and we enjoyed looking at pictures of Disney World's Haunted Mansion and comparing it to what we saw here with this real life haunted mansion in PA. Before heading inside the Harry Packer Mansion we walked through Kemmerer Park which is directly across the street from the mansion and feels like the queue line of the Haunted Mansion ride to me! Once we made our way inside the real haunted mansion we explored around before having a drink at the lounge. Since we were here in the summer we had the opportunity to sit outside on the verandah of the mansion. This truly felt like the haunted mansion porch and was such a surreal experience as a disney fan! Experiencing this piece of Disney history and specifically disney world history was incredible.
Later this week we then went to go see the new Disney Haunted Mansion movie in theaters and I end this vlog with my movie review and thoughts.

It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. My dream is to soon relocate to the Orlando area and live near Disney!
