Real-life review of the Bosch 80 P I tried to find more information about this laser level but could not find information I wanted hopefully this will answer some questions that you were trying to find please let me know in the comments thank you

Very useful. It is the only presentation that shows the reciver LR2 can work horizontal and vertical. Thx a lot

Jassica Wong Yes it was the US retailer if you look hard and you got your patience and definitely you'll be to get one I think mine costed about close to 600 and some odd dollars but there are three line lasers that are not 360 which are cheaper but if you need 360° the definitely this one is the way to go

Thanks for the review. I own this product and your experience was identical to mine. Best $$$ I have ever spent. It is the responsibility of the end user to understand the limitations of the tool they employ. I built an 8x12 shed using this device for layout in sunny Florida. The beam was washed out at noon. So I just planned my project to do my layout and leveling in the morning or evening when the sun was low in the sky. This is a superb tool and Bosch has brought within reach of the prosumer. I won't do a project without one.

the glass of this lazer is crap fell 1 time 1 meter and it broke in a million pieces...also the holder sucks no way to mount it properly...

I'm very surprised it has a drop rating of 1 m or 3 feet perhaps a cottage on an angle that the glass couldn't handle but it's still a fantastic laser

Great real life test ! I probably order one ... GLL2-80P of GLL3-80P .. don't realy need the 3th beam .. ( to bad you cant put it i'n 2 line cross like you say in the video )

Hopefully the next generation maybe will be able to do so but like I said I have my other line laser but I also forgot to mention that you can also do 345 calculations to put up walls or square or tiles as well if I was you I get the three being you can always use the two but it's totally up to you Thanks

Frank Zinghini yep i will probably go for the GLL3-80P (also in kit with the LR2 ).. since the difference in price in europe seems to be only 50-60 euro or so .. i played with the GL2-50 ( and also discovered in vertical line mode you only have 3 lines .. you see dot not line on the wall where the laser is next to .. ( the Dewalt DW-088 you see the beam on the 4 wall , only on wall where the laser is the beam starts about 50cm higher ) That's also the reason why i would go for GLL2 of 3-80P .. for the full 360 beam ..( no need to move the laser then )

Czelin49 Thank you for your question now if you are watching the full video you can see that I was using the laser outside so to answer your question yes. You can use the laser outside it is very difficult if it's a very sunny day with the unit it comes with the laser detector with that laser detector your be able to know where the laser is at. And if you get a chance purchase some of those red glasses the just red safety glasses as you saw in the video they enhance the laser. If you have any other questions please let me know

David Pyle Thank you so much for your kind words. Like I mentioned in the video I too wanted to find out as much as I could with the laser before purchasing it after all it is a big purchase. That is why I decided to make this video so that it covered all my concerns that I was looking for but unfortunately I had the purchase the laser to find out on my own so hopefully this gave you enough confidence and answered as many questions that you are seeking out once again thank you for your kind words.

I wish my GLL 3-80 came with the receiver, L Box and mounting bracket. They are sold separately here in NZ which is a quite bothersome. Thanks for the video.

Really? Mine came with the receiver everything you see in the box it came with perhaps the store and/or seller is parting out these packages that is a possibility most people do that the purchase a pack and then part them out to make better money

Hi. Refreshingly worthwhile review, so rare to find. Are the vertical planes exactly 90 degrees to each other? It doesn't list the accuracy of the verticals with regard to each other in the specs,

Two things one when I purchased this laser there was no such thing as green lasers number two Bosch is far superior to deWalt lasers but I appreciate you trying to tell me that I overpaid . Which I didn't buy the way it was a lot more expensive at the time.

Awesome review. Currently debating between the dewalt and Bosch.

Thanks It's a tough choice there's a pros and cons between both of them what I like about the Dewalt is that it has different buttons for the laser lines where the Bosch's one button and you have to cycle through it. The Bosch has a locking mechanism that keeps the pendulum safe and secure with the Dewalt doesn't. The window on the Bosch is more protected in the window of the Dewalt but again they're both good lasers it is a tough choice
