I had seen an Extra doll that was a curvy at a store a little while back. Funny thing was that it was right under a curvy fashionista with the same skin tone (I would say a milk chocolate brown color) and I immediately started thinking about a head swap (lol) because the Extra dolls have more articulation than the fashionistas.
Hopefully I will find them in store this weekend 🙏 , I also prefer realistic pets for my dolls . The barbie pets from the 90s were always real looking and cute !

Cavoodle and Yorkshire are my favorites, but I think it was a missed opportunity to not repaint the second Boston terrier. Though maybe a good premise for a future video. 🤔 Pet store with the dogs and buy doubles to paint different coat patterns on them.
I love the details on the real Littles but that curvy barbie extra is definitely going to be mine! For one thing I love her hair, it's purple😁 but the main reason? SHE HAS A GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPY!!!!!!! I love German shepherds and the fact that it's a puppy makes it even cuter to me! I was hoping the real Littles would have a jack russell terrier. I want one for My dolls so bad and they're not a common breed to find in barbie scale.
Ok I think I need to go to the store and get me the chihuahua and the westie(?). They are all so stinkin' cute! I personally prefer the real littles pets to the barbie extra, they just look so realistic and you get a pet carrier!
I’m happy for the gals who like the mixed breed option. However, I have a cavalier King Charles and would have been more excited to get a full breed option just because you very rarely see cavaliers. Love all your videos Toya! You’re commentary and humor always make me laugh.
I do love when you get the toys that we want to see and show us the pros and cons of them. Thanks I didn't think I'd like the Extra doll line, but seeing them out of the box, when you show us how she looks and what details they have, I am a fan of them and own about 6.. I agree with you, the Littles dogs are so cute, because they are more like real dogs kids have. I don't understand why Mattel put the cartoonlike dogs and pets in the Extra doll line. The adult collectors are not happy with them that I have talked to. My granddaughter likes them, but, she is 12, most kids don't buy them, but do get them as gifts. So maybe that is their idea. I just wish they'd realize how many adult collectors are getting these, and make a few, just for us, not just for the kids. I mean, do their designers not notice how many adults watch your, and several other Barbie You tube shows on here? I think Mattel has their head in a bucket or something. Keep up the great work, you are my very favorite of all the RU-vid doll shows out.
The chihuahua head swap made me laugh. I had to come back and see it again because I know of a few dogs that look like that. Also, The corgi would be so awesome to have.

The Real Littles pets are so cute. I prefer them to the Barbie Extra pets. I don't like the cartoon ish look. I guess that fine for preschool/toddler age doll lovers but older kids and adults prefer realistic pets. Their accessories are nice. The Barbie Extra dolls are nice. I really like the light blue bandanna print outfit. The price of the Real Littles is out of my budget. I would like to see a Jack Russell terrier and black and Chocolate labs in the Real Littles,and I would love to see them do an assortment of kitties.
I love the Dachshund best, I think, but the Yorkshire Terrier is cute too. I would absolutely have to own a Staffie pup if that ever became a thing. And cats, too definitely cats. I completely agree with you on the Barbie extra pets too. Barbie animals generally seem to be very cartoony these days. Oh well.😸🐶
I found the pups by complete accident! My two favorites are the dachshund and corgi, and they were off by themselves on the shelf. It was meant to be! Although I don't think I've ever seen a dachshund in that color lol. I didn't see the pug though - I love it!!! I want it too! Those little charms that come on the bag could totally go on a doll backpack, even a 1/6 scale one. :D I'm going to do that! I hope they make more of these, and with more animals too! Come on, articulated husky! I wonder - do the sunglasses fit Barbie as well? If you get duplicates, Barbie and her pet can match LOL I love the cake purse with that Extra doll! I also think her pink shirt is super cute.
I saw that corgi at walmart too. I wanted to get it, but I'm still trying to get all the foodie mini brands lol. I hope they make some bigger dogs too.
The real littles wins hands down. I think the dogs that come with the extra Barbie looks more like toys, it could be used as decorations in a room of a pet lover doll or like a toy you'd win at an arcade or carnival.
I do like the Barbie extra pets better than some of the other pets I’ve seen from Barbie. They’re more realistically coloured and not hot pink or a severely underscaled wild animal. And no chunky collar. The face is cuter too. But I also wish they were more realistic looking ❤❤
Im partial to Chihuahuas, they're so cute. I think super glue or just a touch of hot glue can be used as fray check to stop the non hemmed edges from coming apart.
The chihuahua doggy reminds me of the one in Legally Blonde. And keep the head on…that was like whoa!! Just nope. Lol I vote for Crusher! Real Littles pets for the Win!! Sticking with Crusher.
Deanna Troy is definitely my favorite, lol. (although I loved Beverly on TNG) That one also looks the best without any clothes/accesories, just like a real dog. And since i'm not a fan of putting dogs in clothes, I would prefer that. But all of them are nice 👍

I rarely see Pomeranians as an option. I love Pomeranians and hate not being able to find many. I have a Littlest pet shop Pomeranian and that's the only one in that size I can find.
I now have all 6 puppies , and I LOVE them all !!! Even better that the pet dogs that go with the extra dolls . But I agrre with canitbechristine , I LOVE to see cats instead !!!!
I travel a lot and have actually seen people go through customs with bags as big as that first roller bag, proportionally speaking. It's fine if your Barbie is moving to another continent and doesn't understand the concept of packing light!
