Hey Andrew, great question! Check out John 1:1 where Jesus, called "the Word" is called God. Then John 1:14 where Jesus "became flesh and dwelt among us". 1 John 1 is also a good place to go for this. Isn't it amazing that God became man to save us?
Another good question Andrew. 'Word' is capitalised in the KJV because the translators decided to capitalise references to God. Since John identifies the Word as God, they capitalised 'Word'. It's clear that John thinks Jesus is both God and man, and we agree! John 1:1 John 1:14 1 John 1:1 1 John 5:7
