The Chas McDevitt Skiffle Group were hugely popular in 1956/7 . However the skiffle craze soon waned & in 1958 they dropped the word “Skiffle” from the group’s name . Here they are singing “Real Love” featuring Shirley Douglas ( McDevitt’s wife) on a recording from 1958 on the Oriole label. The record is playing on one of my Decca 66A portable gramophones.
