carlo is the only so called ‘elite’ manager who can’t coach a 4-3-3 every elite team in the world plays 3 attackers and they can press well, build-up well without issues the problem isn’t our formation it’s our coach

that’s the role of the coach to tell his team to defend. during training instill the discipline in them that’s why we are paying him, teach them how to press we are just wasting money atp

We just need to find the balance lets see once camavinga is back what he decides to do but i dont think he is happy with what he is seeing like the rest of us
I agree but the issue isnt even about pressing primarily, our defense is porous now, we can’t build up from the back like we need coaching basically and camavinga isn’t changing that the coach needs to do his job
we aren’t even good defensively to be a transition team, we gave up 17 shots to stutgart, to be a counter attacking team you have to be good defensively
@@sonyray3496 even the best strikers in all of history go through hot and cold streaks finishing. Rodrygo is a winger. He’ll get hot and cold for a couple months each season. As long as he keeps everything else in his game (dribbling, creating, etc) to a world class level on average and continues to score in the biggest games. I’m okay with it
@@wayneverhoff2790that’s the problem with Rodry, he goes hot and cold on all his production. When he’s good, he’s great, when he’s not so good, he hard to notice. I’d just like some consistency for 1 season. Not the end of the world considering he usually shows up when we need him to.
@@MasterWinstone the obvious rebuttal to that is he is 23. He is not in his prime. He was playing out of a position as weird striker / RW hybrid. And yet he had 17 goals and 9 assists. Scored or assisted in both legs against City. And won three trophies. The year before that had 19 and 11. For reference Saka only had 20 and 14 last year and he’s the “main man” while Rodrygo is the sidekick
@@wayneverhoff2790 He’s been playing “out of position” RW/Striker for 5 seasons now. When is he gonna adapt? Vini adapted to playing central just fine. And if forced to play on the right he’d be proficient there after one season. I think we make too many excuses for Rodry that we wouldn’t accept for our other top forwards. Rodrygo is a streaky player and may never grow out of that. I don’t mind it as long as he’s hungry whenever he comes off the bench or whenever he gets a chance to start.
Ancelotti lost his cool with Tchouameni when he got himself sandwiched in a Stuttgart press and we lost momentum, for his Italian feels that was too much =D
Its about 10 games into the season now. Each time I watch us play , it seems like it's getting worse. Second half vs Atalanta still the best half of football we played. Carlo in his 4th year. I wonder what they do in training sessions....

@@user-id1ju1xf2f Atalanta was our best game all season I agree… but we played WAY better today than against Real Sociedad. And before that we played our 2nd best game against Betis. Today was our 3rd best game. We started slow last year too the only difference is we we’re undefeated
if you have time, go and watch our first 6 games last season, we weren’t this awful, we aren’t playing well at all the first half today was embarrassing in our own home, my point is we aren’t seeing improvements and because the whole team is bad our attackers can’t find their form Mbappe and Vinicius have been real bad
I really want Klopp as our next manager, he said he is ready to come back out of retirement if a good chance comes around and I don't see a better chance than Madrid, 60% at least of our squad are players he wanted in Liverpool Don't get me wrong, I root for Ancelotti a lot, and I don't think what's happening rn won't be fixed or makes him a bad manager, it just feels the right time to get Klopp asap before someone else does and Carlo can leave on a high maybe with the club world cup trophy Alonso's time will come eventually, with Klopp it's now or never, and he is the kind of manager who screams Real Madrid when it comes to style of football and he can add the modern football details we lack when it comes to pressing while still maintain an entertaining fluid style of football, he has a good history working with limited resources and stupid board decisions like playing a full season with 7 with only 2 center backs His personality suits star players, he is humble and easy to work with, I would regret it a lot if we don't get him after Carlo.
