They are not wrong though? Madrid have been horrendous, just because you win, that doesn’t change as the game isn’t influenced purely by being better. Only NPCs think this way

So Jamie is wrong about who played in 2018 CL, the midfield of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro were the same, Benzema was there and only Carvajal was there but not the rest of the defence if you’re comparing that team with the Madrid team now. And just to make it clear Madrid were the better team in the CL 2018 final.

Carragher has gone completely dumb and saturated over the last few months. Calling out Ronaldo, Real Madrid when his LFC were one of the biggest underdogs to win the UCL. I thought winning meant you were better, Carragher is changing definitions of completion and sports.
United are a far worse team now, he was correct about the Ronaldo situation, Ronaldo has done well but the team are much worse. Real never had a shot on target in 90 mins, they are a special club, they remind me of a bigger Liverpool. They are never out till it’s over.

Even Pep admitted they didn't play well before the goal and then Madrid played better after 80th mins. Benzema and vini were bad in the first half they skied their shots and missed shitters hence no shots.

@Carragher: loosing to Mancity in the UCL final would have been bad for Liverpool. Liverpool has the chance to win both the league and UCL. But what would you prefer more loosing out the league and UCL to manc. Or loosing to mancity in the league and winning UCL.

He was happy that Liverpool is not playing the final against Man City which is "a way better team than Real Madrid" and not a rival but a foreign club hahahaha! First of all, Real Madrid is not often lose the finals and they have experience of playing finals in their squad so being happy to play a final against Real is quite naïve! maybe semis but not final! Another thing is that he says "a non-rival foreign club" as if it is Sevilla or Benfica! It is Real Madrid with 13th UCL titles back then for god's sake.
