Royalty is also highlighted by the way you present yourself. She embodied a sari, with a tika and flowers in her hair, bangles in her hand and pearls in her neck. Yet she is fluent both in English and Hindi. Now, that is a true Indian woman who is not ashamed to appreciate and show respect to her culture. Lots of love and respect. Today’s Generation needs to learn.
I am a Vadodara resident and Vadodara residents treat every member of the royal family with great respect. The royal family has helped the people of Vadodara a lot. They have built schools, colleges( MS University), government offices, hospitals(Sayaji Hospital), grounds for playing and so many things for the residents of Vadodar. We residents of Vadodara always pray to God that the hands of the royal family may rest upon us. Today I say thank you to the royal family from every resident of Vadodara It is wonderful to see Radhika Madam playing Garba... ( you can search on RU-vid) May God bless them with happiness, peace and prosperity..👍👍
It Was Very Very Inspiring to see the interview of महारानी Radhikaraje Gaekwad. My daughter Anchal Agrawal was Felicitated By HH Dalai Lama While she was studying at IIM Calcutta. She was speechless and overwhelmed with that experience.
I was born in the Royal hospital of Gaikwads maharani shanta devi hospital in badoda which is very close to Laxmi villas Palace. At that time My mom used to tell me the queen personally visit to the hospitals and ask about the health of the ladies. Moreover the contribution of gaikwad family Towards the people of Baroda is incredible. For the people of Baroda and as a barodian we considered sajirao gaikwad not as a king but a god he constructed dams which are still are in operations government medical hospitals pilgrimage centers temples bridges Maharaja sajirao gaikwadi University zoo railway stations and many other historical monuments for the welfare of society. Watching this podcast from Canada I feel very proud of our Raj mata radhika raje gaikwad she is the real jem of Baroda state.❤❤ 😊
"sajirao gaikwad not as a king but a god" Wow, desi people God is only one entity that controls the whole universe. Baroda is too miniscule on that scale.
I am a graduate from MSU thanks to the Gaikwad family for their contributions. Lovely Interview for the insight into the Royal family and Maharani Radhikaraje ji answered all the questions very candidly. I love how Down to Earth and spiritual she is. God Bless!
Very refreshing. To be honest, I have no idea about this maharani but i am totally impressed. Her hand gestures were truly royal. Baat karne ka andaaz. Totally blown away.
@@sujathakowalczyk3364 Just yesterday, I saw your unique comment on the international love story channel in which you mentioned how your marriage came to be. And today, I find your comment again on a different channel. Eerie coincidence or just baader meinhof effect?
Maharaj Sayajirao Gaikwad's achievements in the social sector are also a testimony of his social reform. Ban on veiling, ban on child marriage, ban on sale of girls, award of intermarriage, right of inheritance for women. And he was one of the greatest king in marathas , And his birth place is near from my native place......✨✨
Maharani girls school, hospitals, art gallery, zoo, University, girl's colleges, girl's hostel, music college , dance school etc , and Baroda stat sponsored to Dr. Bhimrav Ambedkar.
And here we have the shameless Chhatrapati of Kolhapur who has contested his seat by aligning with this Muslim appeasement- gaddar Congress party. How can anyone respect him.? What a contrast from this oroud educated & dignified Maharani of Baroda.
Some people giving hate to them. Learn, research and than speak. Aap log Baroda se hai? Aake dekho yaha koi bewajah praise nhi karta kisi ko.. Khali pili spam kar raha comments me. Kisi ke achche kaam ko acknowledge karna slavish mentality nhi hoti. Bank of Baroda, MS university, Sayaji Hospital, Ajwa sarovar and so many other things were built by the maharaja for the betterment of the people even before independence. That's why people respect them.
I would like to say that Maharaniji is so humble. They organize Garba funtions in Motibag ground during Navratri and she makes sure that she plays Garba with the crowd not alag se on some stage. That's so humble❤
Being a Proud Barodian, I feel so grateful that the world is about to know the history of my beloved historic 'SANSKARI NAGRI VADODARA' & our the great His highness, the visionary MAHARAJA SAYAJIRAO GAIKWAD by your Podcast. Thanks @RanveerAllahbadia bhai 👍
Proudly barodian and maharaja Sayaji Rao Gayakwad 2 was Devine soul who became true follower of Bhagwan swaminarayan and spreaded Support to Dharam bhakti among people and that’s why it’s call Sanskari nagri 👍lota of respect for this family 🙏
These were tricks of British. Impoverished common people of India like never before, then made the royals lose their things. The royals went on with other businesses but India is still poor.
Jealousy is a sin. Most of people don't understand that. We should be happy for others. Work hard to be like them but never try to steal someone's hard earned wealth.
@@bhagyashrikhose6511 Yes they stole whatever they could leaving India from over 25% global trade to poor and hungry. Then stole more from these Royals after independence because the Govt made such laws.
Wow I was truly transported. Her upbringing, her privilege, her knowledge, her sense of duty and her sense of gratitude are incredible, and she is perfectly created for this role. I'm certain she's had incredible challenges that none of us can imagine, and despite her life being so different from my own, I've learnt so much from her and truly respect her. The stuff that was coming out her mouth was from such an elevated space. I can totally understand why we would have worshipped our royalty in the past. May she live long and prosper, and may many many people be inspired by her.
I am sincerely grateful to the Gayakwad family, as an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, for their generous donation of the university's library, which still bears their name. Notably, the members of this royal family are exceptionally presentable, soft-spoken, and deeply committed to societal responsibilities. The manner in which she speaks reflects her esteemed position, and she rightly pointed out that if those gold ornaments and antique pieces had been acquired by the Government of India, they would have become a significant part of our national heritage.
Royal families who fought against Rani Laxmi Bai be like : We were demonized and blamed that we sold our nations! Boohoohoo 😂😂😅😅 Not to mention the true national, the maharaja of Jaipur, his Highness who fought against Udaipur to help the Mughals .... 😂😂😅😅 Gold cannons public ka paisa tha .. 😂😂😅😅
An absolutely delightful conversation. Not only the answers but how the podcast was conducted has a freshness to it. Having seen the Palace documentary on Lallantop earlier, one is very impressed at how the Royals of Baroda have looked after their Heritage and are much loved by the people for their genuine humility and service. Maharani Radhikaraje herself is very classy and down to earth yet exudes an inner strength that's regal. This was a treat to watch.
Are toh globalisation ki wajah se lifestyle v westernise ho gyi h..or western lifestyle is more simple...pahle to upper middle class m daily gold jewellery pehanna was normal
She is so simple, beautiful, intellectual, down to earth, cultured, rooted with moral values, divine and pure soul. Words are less to express my gratitude to her. Thanks to Ranveer 😊
FYI This lady posts appreciation for British monarchs on instagram. Same people who made India the poorest, bcz of whom they had to sell most of their precious belongings. Her property is still worth 25 thousand crs. These people didn't lose as much as they say. They had a good life even after taxation imposed by the Indian government.
@@pallavinaik3780She is not Maharashtrian 😅. She never lived in Maharashtra, she is from Rajasthan Rajput royal family and got married to Gaikwad family of Gujarat.
@@prachishinde888at the time of taxation they didn’t had income to pay taxes. Only thing they can do was sell historical artifacts and jewellery as they couldn’t sell land as it was not worth much at that time. Having assets doesn’t mean they have money as not all assets are liquidable.
Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad is one those rare Kings who designed Baroda city in such a way that no one can imagine!! He was a very passionate, royal and an intelligent King!!
I'm an Ahom Royal Prince (Rajkonwar = Rajkumar) and a descendant of the Ahom Kings of Assam who defeated the Mughals 17 times. However, our Ahom Royal Family doesn't receive recognition from the government nor do we have any political power or wealth in today's time. 👑 (23/07/24 5pm)
✅ Gaikwad Family and Marathis have major contribution to develope Vadodara but Marathis never claim the city unlike some Gujaratis cries for Mumbai.🙄 Charachter, Dignity is bigger than Money.💯

Being a barodian is a very proud moment for us because this is first time we are showing our maharani on national podcast. Maharaja sayajirao gaiekwad-lll is a real founder of today's Baroda city what you have seen today is because of his vision.❤
Completely Agree with Raniji about the amount of contribution which Gayakwad family has done to Vadodara until today as well. They are still our Raja and Rani... Proud Barodian as well
Dhanya Dhanya chhe Vadodaru Saher ❤🥹 It is a Garba that is sung in Lakshmi Vilas Palace Heritage Garba and it describes our Vadodara so beautifully. I just saw this video on Maharani Ji’s Instagram post and came to watch the whole conversation. H. H., We have a huge respect for the Gaekwad Family. 🍃🙏

One of the best podcasts I had ever watched... Maharani of BARODA has really portrayed her culture, traditions, royalty in such a humble and organised manner... Seriously the palace which is ( LAKSHMI VILAS PALACE OF BARODA) IS ONE of the most beautiful palace i had seen .. I was really amazed by the beauty of the palace..i seriously now crave to visit it the 4th time. I feel lucky to have been posted in Baroda....at that time...wish to visit it again... Also she is so humble and kind and definitely showed very clearly and respectfully what does royalty really stands for !! Amazing podcast ranveer....❤❤❤❤

Something extraordinary understanding and universal thought being conveyed so lucidly by Maharani Baroda. So much spiritual practice and culture has been prevalent in the Palace is superb and anybody will gain from the honest and beautiful expression from the pure human being - Maharani Baroda. We can understand very well how the Maharaja met Sri Aurobindo in England - the Divine too continued to work unseen - and decided to offer the post of professor in MS College to him in those days. Great to witness FIRSTHAND.

Beautiful podcast. What Maharani said about the Maharaja of Travancore having to go to the temple and if not pay a fine, that still happens. He goes daily around 7-7:30 and at that time the temple is closed to the public. And even today, he has to pay a fine!
