@EmilHe was born in south Africa with British parents or grand father and emigrated to the uk at some point due to his British ancestry the joined the uk military. i know I'm one of them as south Africans we will never lose the accent so we might not sound it due to having grown up there but we are British.
Nice skills. I’m a 🇺🇸 vet and can tell you’re really good. Clearing corners of every room, slicing the pie when you’re approaching corners. Very good foundational tactics 👍 salute to 🇬🇧
can’t imagine playing that in VR, would literally be a jump scare where someone flanks your side or rear and next thing you know is that you’re KIA, big bravo zulu
VR competitions would be pretty dope working with teammates and knowing the proper procedures for bounding and tactical play to effectively work together in combat
@@GLIDGaming Most definitely, especially when they started pushing, but 11:11, that brought back fresh ARMA memories of how bad it could've been if that bot had more sense. No problem brother, though this did bring up a thought. Have you ever heard of or played Trepang2's demo? The AI will flank and suppress like none other which may provide an interesting challenge. Solid content as always 👊
Brilliant, haha. I’ve been binging your vids last few days, and have been playing this game. I used to get killed by the rookies when I first started, but I fired it up on Bazaar last night, 24 veteran AI, and went suppressed with NVG’s. I took it slow and worked the perimeter, cleared every corner, pie’d the doors and worked the space. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast, all 24 tangos down! Haha.
First I wanna say thank you for your service and sacrifice. I’m so glad I found your channel. I love stuff like this. You take these military simulator games that don’t really have a whole lot of personality and just make them come to life. You guys give these games a cinematic edge. You add intensity to them. I’d love to see you play some terrorist hunt on R6 Vegas 2 (if you haven’t already, I haven’t delved into your videography too deeply I just watch whatever is on my recommended).
love your vids GLID inspired me to get into these fps games and to sign up for real, Big Respect to you and your boys for the most entertaining vids to date !
You need to play this with others, you can also run night maps so I imagine playing with your lads would be a blast! I would absolutely love to see it man. By the way I am happy to inform you that you can invite other people to play with you as well! Also very good gameplay, love the sharp reactions and the cracked out shots!
If you play Onward on steam you can go back to 1.7 which is much more realistic. Louder and more realistic gun sounds, better graphics, and the enemies don't play a weird animation when they die. It's really fun!
I tried over a week to take on 128 bots on the hardest mode possible, very difficult as the AIs almost have auto-aim-bot at that level but me and one of my old mates from when I was in the mob eventually did it after much fun and laughter. Weapon of choice for me was the LSW with support from my mate with the M4. Fantastic game. Respect bootneck!
Would love to see you cover Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades. Despite the fact that you're fighting against giant sausages for enemies, the gunplay, mechanics and general quality of design and VR interactivity is FAR better than in Onward. I think you'd have a blast with H3!
@@memes_the_dna_of_the_soul5487 For the longest time it was my favourite VR game to come home from work and play. Felt so good just to chill on the ranges and test out all manner of weapons. The AI modes are legitimately amazing though.
@@jaybberwocky There is a way to get humanoid targets in H3VR but it's a private thing someone made and they use it exclusively for zombies. no other map has it
I love this channel. You could make so much damn money doing online VR training for civvies like me, I'd pay $50 an hour no problem and you could do a half dozen at a time. It'd be more than worth to learn to move and communicate as a unit!
34 y gamer since 4 y old...I really enjoy the way you play game...I m also a vr enthusiast and I love watching you bringing your mili career inside the game...amazing channel...I love people who as me love videogame
Bro, Glid aim on controller is like above average but his aim when it mimics a real rifle is pro level 🤣 you can tell this guy has shot real guns for a long time
*I think if I remember correctly, you can click or hold down the joystick that allows you to move forward, and you can run in the game. You will lose stamina though. I've played Onward online with other people and it gets real intense. Subscribed to your channel.*
Pro tip: Get used to slapping your front hand onto your other hand. There are positions where you don't occlude the front controller with the trigger hand, and that's the way you want to hold things like this. I made something similar a year ago that I use, and it's more of a trumpet type thing where you lean the stock right on your chin like you're playing a trumpet, then slapping the other hand onto the pinky of the trigger hand. Three points locked in, super accurate.
Mate, absolutely loved this! Hope you decide to do more VR games, love to see you try this again with a KobraVR wolverine DMR stock, they're made by small UK outfit and I think the creator Falandorn is into his milsim games and would love to see how you get on with it. Would watch the heck out of this if you streamed this kind of content on Twitch!
+1 for the Kobra Mark II! It's super easy to use and the front grip style is very easy to return to after changing mags, switching weapons, checking tablet, etc.
His quest 2 looks so clear. I've tried VD and air link but can't get it to look this clear. Great shooting and movement btw. Takes me back to my pie slicing days
You have to click the stick you use to move with in. Click it in and you will sprint but the game also slows your movement on the position your gun. Haven’t played it in months but if I remember correctly at low ready your walking speed is faster. When the gun is pointed/ready you walk slower.
Love this video bro. I noticed the black hawk down picture and here's a fun fact, I actually live in the same town where Thomas Field is burried his grave is a site to see.
Honestly, that's really impressive. I never served, but I was in Ukraine for three months as a volunteer med and I have a little bit of experience shooting in Bulgaria ranges, I played onward and completed this too, 28 tangos. I can say he really has a lot of experience in the military and he managed actually perfectly. Like someone said in the comments, just imagine when we reach the future and this becomes more realistic. I will for sure be curious to see his videos
Man I would love to run a round like this, just I’m more of a fast pace type. It’s just the fact when your injured, a magically morphine syringe can somehow revive you to consciousness or fix some bones.
For those who never played but want to. Here’s a great tip. Study each map. Literally walk around learn land marks. And COMMUNICATE! Enemy my 2 o’clock 2 story building near the helicopter, or build just west of helicopter
Onward is the best FPS game. Oculus bought it last year and they are now working on Onward 2. If the current game is awesome, I can't wait for v2! it's gonna be amazing
So here’s my easy solution for keeping hands oriented with rifle…. Laugh if you want but it works. Take a tactical belt and create a loop on each end for each wrist. Leave about 10 inches slack between wrists. As you hold controllers your left hand pushes forward , right hand pulls back. The opposing pressure keeps the in-game rifle very steady. I travel for work and can’t bring VR stock with me but this works great!!
For those who don't have a stock yet this is brilliantly simple and effective. For those already owning a ProtubeVR stock, you can try to build something simular to the iStock using parts from the ProtubeVR kit, since it is very modular. You just need to tape/zip down the magnet holder, or replace it with a locked version connector.
