I love watching these. Most players don't understand the validity or necessity of team fire. It's beautiful to watch you all converging on heavy threats and avoiding friendly fire. It's the little things.
playing left 4 dead and other such games REALLY drill in the importance of 1. staying in a group as going alone will leave you helpless to special infected and getting surrounded, 2. prioritizing strong enemies for group fire, tanks can and will rip you apart one by one if you don't face it as a group, 3. watching your fire and your allies as health is limited and one less teammate means one less gun and one less backup plan. so much so that i basically do those things on reflex
These guys were part of an experimental Helldiver program where they actually gave the recruits the same quality and amount of training as a present-day soldier instead of the ten minutes of pre-recorded messages by General Brasch that every other diver gets.
been wanting to see more Professional-esque content on helldivers coz well, its a military and i feel like ive seen enough shenanigans and wanted to watch things get done. and here is the content ive been looking for, served on a silver platter
Jokes aside, this channel really brought back the hope that I nearly lost in both my country and democracy. Every time I hear Glid’s patriotism it’s really uplifting. Cheers from the west to our most closest allies! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
My friend still gets mad at me for double tapping enemies that snuck up on me and it’s hilarious “Dude that bug hasn’t moved for the last 10 minutes and flew over you with one of the explosions” “I know, but the prick stabbed me in the back and I DIDN’T FORGET IT!”
watching you move and clean corner and give call outs and relay information, i feel like no one understands how effective this it is in situations like this, you really make the game shines and it shows how effective team work is what makes this works
Team communication, timing, resource usage and teamwork, makes this vid so good. U guys keep on making quality vids like this, ill keep watching and liking.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Tip: if you wear engineering perk armor (2 extra grenades) and carry the new stun grenades, you can freeze chargers and titans in place, making taking them out much easier!
Any RU-vid channel that posts action-based content where you are shooting at stuff and there's no teamwork, good Comms or tactical authentic movement is absolutely not worth watching. It's a waste of time.
Cool and calm in the face of the worst the bugs have to offer. Seeing y’all handle this game is nothing short of magnificent. If Helldivers are Starship Troopers, you guys are the Roughnecks. Good stuffs.
You guys should dive on Maleveon Creek, that’s where good Helldivers go to polish their skills and train up. Super Earths finest warriors are fighting for the creek.
The way You guys comunicate with each other. Calm, clean, collected and precise.... Beautifull to see and hear. Great thing to watch. Cheers from Poland.
I feel so validated... though you guys didnt get to do it, someone else on the team was saying leave the merch downrange we can use it as an explosive trap. I do this all the time, a well placed autocannon to it turns it into a pretty deadly weapon.
The devs and the ceo are from Sweden where mandatory military service for 7 months is the norm. I'm surprised how adaptive this game is and you can use many strategies to tackle objectives.
Would be cool if you guys run a machine gun and an ammo backpack suppling it and play around that supporting fire like you would in a real life squad. The machine gun is so good at shredding small/medium bugs. You could camp a bug breach with it and deny most of the bug horde to enable your teammates. You could cover teammates doing objectives. You could help teammates being pressured by a group of small/medium bugs. You could move around and provide support to areas being overwhelmed like a mobile turret. It's really good with the +grenade armor and almost always be on crouch/prone when firing.
Good one, I’m just waiting till you guys can spread some freedom in the creek while on difficult helldivers, would love to see some tactical forces helping us there
Playing this game is the most fun I've had playing with friends in a long time! I was extremely skeptical when I was watching gameplay in the days before release. The way games have been releasing lately completely unfinished. This game definitely reignited my hope that this generation of gaming will get better and that there are some gaming developers and publishers that care about gamers having fun than them making money.
I quickly learned both with the bugs and Automatons. You don't have to engage every group you see. If you can get in and get out of an objective with very little engagement it helps survivability.
Incredible work! only suggestion is to replace the spear with the recoilless rifle, or the expendable anti-tank, the spear has too many cons than pros, such as the long reload time and it being all one animation (meaning if it were canceled you'd have to restart the whole reload animation) and when being chased by chargers if they're too close it's impossible to hit. All you need is one clean hit with either the EAT or the Recoilless rifle to the head of the charger, and it's done for!
Agreed! Plus the expendable anti-tank comes with 2 AT4-style rockets per drop, meaning your teammate can grab one too if needed. Plus a near one minute cool down means more firepower for you.
Ok I don’t you if you played the new update yet But those new flying enemies that the bugs have are annoying Screw them and those hulks with the flame thrower from the automatons (If you want good news It seems that the mech is a good counter)
"Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment, back here I can’t even hold a job parking cars!" - moments before a break down. At least you have helldivers to operate equipment again buddy.
Awesome video brotha! I had one session last week where I joined a group, and none of us knew each other. We ended up playing for about 4 hours together, and it was awesome. Teamwork and communication the entire time. This video reminded me of that session. This game is at its peak when everybody works together and sweet liberty we had a damn good time liberating the bug and robot scum.
That is great to hear when you run with a good team it makes the game so much better and more fun. Everything is better when you play tactical with good communication and teamwork. Appreciate your comment and eyes on 👊🏼.
Its incredible to see how the bugs were giving you guys more trouble than the bots from the previous upload. You guys completed it with few casualties. The bugs dont care about tactics and strats, they will just swarm you and jump you 😂
As a solo player I’m constantly making mental notes and comments like this to lay out plans and operations. When I’m playing in a group I let those comments out and ping things and anyone who can follow along with the comments usually keep up. Then you got trigger happy people wondering, “when did you say that?” or “where did you guys go?”
I *was* wondering how professionals would fight the bugs, since they don't fight like a near-peer opponent like the bots do. Seems like they gave you a harder time.
