Honestly, who cares if it's fake. I bought the original last year and, frankly, after checking it out, I wasn't impressed with the price I paid. And prices are rising every year. It’s better to go to *condup* and buy a high-quality replica.

I've been to a fake market and the original LV store in Guangzhou today. the craftsmanship is top notch for the counterfeit! the hardware, the stitching, the lettering is super clean. but still there is slight difference in feeling of the leather. the genuine one is super soft, while the fake one is a little harsh.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 so I could compare materials, etc. The real brooch costs $800 and is made from the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 backpack replica - also good for comparison - I can't find any differences and still use it in the gym *condup*

I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *esluxy* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. I watched a channel where a woman refurbished vintage sheepskin bags that were in good condition. She dampened a soft cloth with leather cleaner, then leather lotion, and blotted it dry. She applied lotion three times until the bag stopped absorbing it, then polished it off with a dry cloth. Any scratches are gone. She says you can use a high-quality black leather polish on the worn corners of a black bag. Alternatively, you can have your bag sent for a "spa" by a reputable restorer. It comes out like new.
