It is time for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 again. I tried the landing challenges this time with different airports and airplanes. The Microsoft flight Simulator gives the opportunity to fly in very remote places. I am real Boeing 737 pilot but it was hard for me to fly the flight simulator game. Maybe I have the very cheap joystick of I need to adjust and tune it properly. Tell me my friends what else should I try on this flight simulator.

Have you tried to adjust your sensitivity in the settings? I think your joystick can do fine with the right sensitivity. It's funny seeing the planes behaving like a cartoon. I would LOVE to see a cockpit landing for the Paro challenge!

Nice video! I just made a flight from Innsbruck to Nice today and it's the first airport you flew jaja. My sim also have a bit more stutter since last update, haven't had so much luck with the patches yet

Nice video Denis, very challenging landings indeed. You touched on basic but important elements of flying such as controlling the speed with pitch and going around. I don't have MS but use a freeware called Flight Gear. Enjoyed the video friend. 👍💯🙂💕🙏

Great video, About the lags, if you didn't try it yet, you can check the task manager for programs that might be using a lot of CPU. I always turn off windows defender before playing as it often takes ~30% CPU randomly doing a scan or something. It might not be the case for you, so I recommend checking what programs have high CPU usage and turning them off for the time of gameplay. Also, if your recording software supports it, I recommend trying to change encoding between hardware encoding (NVENC) and software encoding (x264) and checking if it changes anything. NVENC is using your GPU to encode the recording, while x264 uses your CPU. Depending on which one (CPU or GPU) is less loaded during the gameplay, you should choose it to encode your recording. Hope that helps so you can have more fun playing the game!

I think you should try Xplane 11, it's more realistic overall and has way better physics because it can also be used as an official training tool

@@Nathanielthepotato i mean it's amazing in terms of graphics but until some good addons are built to it, it's still more of a game then a simulator. however vfr flying should be really enjoyable right now because of all that eye candy and easy navigation

I would like to do it from the cockpit but it 1) The sim doesn't have replays. 2) It is just a game, so I play it like a game. 3) The the equipment I have is not good but I won't buy the new one. I am not really a simulator guy😅. Thanks for your comment and for watching me 👍

I'm still confused to figured it out what best sensitivity settings for my joystick. Sometimes it's very sensitive for light aircraft but best for Airbus. But other wise you adjust for light aircraft then it's very heavy for Airbus. G450 user any recommendation for setting?

Привет, у тебя установлен не макс реализм, что бы его поставить зайди в настройки (нажав кнопку esc) и там в раздел помощь и выстави там все переключатели на реалистичность, так будет интереснее летать :) и физика будет реалистичней

Yea I'd imagine small adjustments would be pretty hard on that joystick so makes sense that fine movements would prove challenging. I haven't gotten to play the msf 2020 sim unfortunately as i don't think my computer would be able to run it 😅 So for now I'm stuck playing X-plane 11 on my phone! Which actually isn't that bad, feels smooth.

I'm really enjoying it on a i5-6400 and agfx 1060 6gb. Med settings. Just in case yours are similar it is definitely worth a go 👍

Is it possible to control the plane using keyboard? Using the joystick or yoke is still very sensitive even at low settings

When I fly Cessna 208 Caravan it feels like Airliners, heavy and when climbing to much trim needs. But it is easy to fly when upgrading from all flight session on msfs on diamond, Cessna 150-172. Do all pilots fly Cessna 150,172 first and then go over to Caravan 208B?

In your when to descent video, there was 33×3=99nm. But what is the second 3?? The faf alt(3000ft), excluding the zeros????

For descent planning just multiply your current altitude (above destination airport) by 3 in order to get the miles needed for an idle thrust descent. -/+ 1 mile for every 10kts head/tailwind and +1 mile for every 10 kts above approximate approach speeds. So for example you're at 30,000' and the airport is at 0'. Let's say you're going 300kts with 10kt headwind: That's: 30,000x3 = 90 + 10 (because you're 100kts above 200kts which is rough speed at 10nm on approach) - 1 (10kt headwind). So required miles for idle thrust descent = 99 miles. Works most of the time in real life on the 737!
