This is the best skiing contest of the year! and This year's was amazing.

Well congratulations Jake Mageau for the being the winner and taking home the gold medal in real ski 2020.

Man Jesper can't catch a break with xgames. Just a thought on the comments from the judges about his stuff not being gnarly. If you put baggy "stylish" clothes on Jesper and added a super aggressive heavy beat as the soundtrack to the edit I bet the judges would've been saying how big he went and how gnarly it was. I'm not saying he should've won (Mango's edit was just bonkers and completely deserved), but to trash someone's video just because they had a different and more mello vibe to their part is lame and unfair. And calling it offensive? Most of the clips were crazy technical and a lot of big features to, so how could this be offensive? Plus if you won't like the fact that he's not dedicating his whole season to the competition, why invite a guy who's clearly competing in the xgames and world cup tours if you're going to bash him for not focusing on the edit? That's not his fault he's competing, and YOU'RE THE ONES WHO INVITED HIM smh. He's insanely skilled and makes his tricks look effortless, and I'm tired of xgames shitting on him all the time.

Respect jesper for branching out of the comp season to even compete or try at this.

What a great year really liked the in depth overview of the judges and their discussions. Really shows how you award a first place even with all the different crazy tricks and vids

I expected more judging criteria, there's only 1 judge talking bout each part....

I think that one guy unfairly trashed Jesper. The production value wasn't amazing, but he was also filming everything in between international travel for competition on his time off. I think you could accuse him of over-committing maybe, but basically saying he phoned it in purely over production value seems unreasonable. And to be perfectly honest, only Emile's part had exceptional production values. The rest of them looked like skate reels from the 2000's and were nothing special production wise.

“I personally find that offensive” yeah ok buddy, I want to see you send something massive that could possibly end your career. Jesper May have not had the best video, but it was definitely better than a few of them...

I bet it was xgames just trying to throw some tension into the mix by making khai say he was offended by jespers edit. I really doubt anyone would actually say something like that

Yeah ... I think this year was a lil less impressive than other years. I mean top 3 killed it, super hard !! Loved Alex's part, Emile was charging, and Jake i think wanted to show that he could also send it ! But Noah was chilling, even tho is style is the sweetest, Jesper did a couple of spots around home, oh and sorry Zahner was in X mode, was good part but nothing mind blowing. When you look at Henrik's part in 2017, Phil Casabon 2 golds, Tom Wallsich, LJ Strenio, ABM, Magnus, Antti... Kimbo killed it last year too, they were all, ALL IN... I mean, we've seen some INSANE videos, but not this year. Only my opinion. Jesper filming with a gopro and his girlfriend, it's insulting to others athlete that would put they're hearts in it. Next year dream cast : make it all past gold medlaist battling haha and add Alex Hall because he is from another planet

Khai said what we all think! Jesper is a very talented skier, but his part is mostly filmed in his backyard and he has already hit these spots many times. And i also don't like the GoPro approach to realski
