How did you gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon? Have you ever felt that it needed to be one huge answer from one incredible prayer?
That is a lot of pressure to put on one prayer, so instead of thinking only in terms of an answer to one prayer, you can find evidence in the truth of the Book of Mormon through various manifestations in your life. Did you become a better version of yourself while reading it? What sort of “fruits” did you experience as you read it? Joy, peace, light, hope? These are the evidences, the truths that the Book of Mormon is from God.
What was your experience reading the Book of Mormon this year? What sort of observational evidences can you think of that manifest to you the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon? We would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

I’m a 46 year old life member. I consider myself a strong member of the church, but this year has greatly reduced my testimony in the church. It hit the hardest in the last few weeks, as all I really want is the comfort church has brought to my life. Instead we just get more of the same government reminders to wear a mask and stay at a distance.I woke up this morning ready to walk away even though I love studying LDS scripture. This episode has been an answer to prayer and my heart is open because of our study with you on the Book of Mormon. It has manifest a powerful, good and precious fruit to my life, even if messages from the Church are lacking. I appreciate your testimonies and the strength you have been to me and others through this difficult life experience. It is the 3 legs of a stool to foster those principles of Hope, Faith and Charity. Thank you for your insight!

I'm glad I stumbled onto this channel. You've both been a light and inspiration to me. I feel like I have two more friends, even though it's very one-sided. What Scott talked about today reminded me of something I saw yesterday. It was a modest British gentleman who builds amazing motorcycles, doing things with metal and motors that don't seem possible. An interviewer asked him how much engineering and planning and calculatiing go into his creations, but the response was surprising: he first visualizes himself riding his next creation down the street, and then works backwards from there to figure out how it was created. Maybe our lives should be more like that, as Scott said so eloquently - perhaps we should see ourselves as being embraced by the Savior, being told, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant", and then work backwards from there to see how we made it, instead of spending so much time focusing on what we lack.

I just completed Episode 48. I took notes on all 48 episodes and will review them over the years. Moroni 10:4 put me over the top. I took the discussions 45 years ago for my future wife. I had no intention of joining the Church until I read that verse. The Spirit made it happen. Thanks for all you do. I'm following your discussions of the Old Testament and plan on attacking the Doctrine and Covenants.

I have officially watched all of your Real Talk episodes on the Book of Mormon! I will add my thanks to the symphony of praise I see in these comments. I became a YW President in Dec 2019 and the learning curve of new responsibilities, new youth program and global pandemic made me feel inadequate for sure. But the Book of Mormon plus your incredible insights taught me how much the Savior loves the youth. He loves them so deeply, and I'm going to say he loves them even more than the adults lol He has made up the difference and helped our Presidency to be enough. Shout out to the orange tie episode (one of my favorites) and I also appreciate what Scott said about not shrinking from sharing the glory of God that is within us. (my new favorite episode) I will aim to bring more heaven down to earth too :) Bring on the Doctrine and Covenants!

thank you for this wonderful insight to the Book of Mormon this year. I wish I had kept track of how many times I have read the Book of Mormon through my life, but this year with Come Follow Me brought an additional level of knowledge and emotion, that probably would not have been attainable had it not been for 2020. The political upheaval brought of our day also brought additional understanding.

We have never commented on this before. However as we come to the end of this year, we want you to know that we relish the time we spend with you each week!! We have several groups to which we listen weekly and yours is our first "go to" after we study the scriptures and the CFM lesson! When we are short on time, we DO NOT miss Real Talk!! Thank you for teaching me today. I have been thinking about what I want to work on in the upcoming year, and it has caused me to reflect on why I struggle with the same things year after year after year. Does it do any good to work on things that are hard for Me? Do zi see any long lasting change? Thank you for teaching me to stand on my strengths. Thank you for leading out with your own struggles. The things that are hard for me might be the things I have stewardship over, as you've taught in an earlier lesson. I've truly enjoyed spending time with you this year. I look forward to next year!

I would just like to say that this year of being taught by Scott and Ganel-lyn has been so valuable to my spiritual growth, and to my personal and spiritual insight. Thank both of you again, for the real-life and personal lessons you have shared. By highlighting your own gospel insights has brought the scriptures to life for me, and make them applicable to my own daily experiences. Thankyou so much for your insights faith and testimony you have shared with us this year. Would we have these wonderful lessons without covid happening?. My thoughts on Moro 10.4 is that the answe will always come in the Lord's timing. We do need to exercise faifh and patience and that is a learning and growing experience for us. But the Lord always fulfils his promises. DC 82.10 He knows us intimately and will touch our minds and hearts in a way that is personal and beat for us. Have a super duper Christmas with all your loved ones. God bless.

IMO, gifts of the spirit and talents are different. A talent can be used for good or bad. A Spiritual gift can only be used to serve God, never ourselves.
