I heard once that Satan doesn't have a body, and so he wants us to loathe ours...so he constantly whispers in our ears how disgusting we are..and how flawed we are...so we need to try to work harder to beat Satan against his own plot. ❤️❤️. I am glad you brought up these points. So many mothers are self degrading and their daughters are listening.

I loved your ideas on the body - One thing I'm learning from having a teenage daughter is that today YW don't struggle with eating disorders but many want to change their gender. It is the new body shaming destruction - Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD) is having major impact in the lives of YW today. Much of this feeling comes from discomfort with their womanhood as they enter puberty. It is hard to talk about this situation with others because we are being taught that we (as parents) should affirm our daughter's desire to change their gender or we are bigots. Many girls don't become comfortable with their bodies until adulthood and after medical professionals have used hormone therapy to atrophy their uterus - chemically causing infertility. There needs to be a solution that we can have these discussion with YW so that women in the future aren't robbed of their measure of their creation.
@@rebeccabischoff9457 Sure - although I’m not sure what was stated so well. I wish we could talk about this situation honestly as ROGD is a real struggle for teen girls and has grown 500% in the last few years. I understand being sensitive to the real struggle these girls feel but I also don’t want to complacently go along affirming these feeling and years down the road have many YW with regrets of life-long consequences to choices made in the youth of their life. I have wondered and worried many sleepless night of how to get young girls to see their worth and feel proud being a female. However, I can see how a woman’s worth are attacked on all sides.

Thank you so much! I never really thought how I was at war with my body. I am a 64 year old woman with a nine year cancer struggle and continuously fight about my weight. I didn’t realize until today what that was actually doing to my soul. ❤️

I really needed this today, especially the talk about bodies. I have struggled with loving my body throughout my whole life, but most especially on my mission, which I just came home from. I watched y'all's episodes throughout my whole mission and I grew great strength and perspective from y'all. Thank y'all for all that y'all do!! I will be spending this week really trying to love my body because it truly is a gift from God! :)
I was an Addiction Recovery Missionary for 5 years several years ago. It was the best calling I ever had. We got to see lives change. I love this program so very much!!
