We often take for granted our parents/elders and forget that they’re individuals who had hopes, dreams, & lives before becoming caretakers and providers to us. It’s heartwarming to see you two bonding. And congrats on having such a pretty face that your mother-in-law law grew tired of seeing 😭
That made me sad about her depression. She is amazing for seeking help though. So many people don’t. When I was suffering in my first pregnancy I did not. You two seem to have a good relationship even though you don’t pick up the phone Hahahahah loved that part.

나이드신 어르신들은 대체로 익숙한 것에 길들여지게 마련이므로 아무리 얼굴 예쁘고 어쩌고 해도 낯선 얼굴의 외국인 며느리한테 쉽게 친근감이 가기는 쉽지가 않다고 봅니다! 언어도 소통이 힘든데 더구나 문화, 생활 풍습과 예절이 다르면 서로 간에 공통적인 대화 주제도 찾기가 어렵기도 하고 그래서 저는 시어머님 입장이 충분히 이해가 가네요.

More with your Mother in-law please, this was so real, raw and simply heart-warming to watch. I think it's positive all round, not just for us as viewers, but for your relationship with each other too, she really opened up to you, I think she really had been waiting for a moment like this to come to her, where she could let out her thoughts and feelings, she had been holding onto that pain for all of this time without telling another soul. A problem shared is a problem halved. You two could be really great support for each other.
She was hilariously but kindly teasing you when she said stuff like "when I call, you don't pick up each time," and, "this little...! I'm calling and she doesn't pick up," and, "You don't pick up and you just ignore my calls." She has a sense of humor that lights up the room and she'll most likely have you laughing on the floor in minutes with that pet phrase. Soooo cute.
좋은 영상 감사히 잘봤습니다. 특히 부모님께서 혼사를 하신 과정이 저하고 매우 비슷해서 더 감명 받았습니다.저도 오래전 대학3학년인 제처를 중매로 만나 45일 만에 결혼을 했는데 서울서 직장 생활을 하던 제가 대구에 있던 처자를 3번인가 만나고 결혼 식장에 입장을 할때 얼굴이 기억이 안나서 걱정을 했습니다. 온 가족분들께서 서로 간에 정이 가득한것 같아 참 보기 좋습니다. 늘 서로를 배려를 하시고 공경하는 마음을 가지면서 행복하시기 기원합니다.

The story on Lance made me laugh so hard. Love seeing you having a great relationship with your MIL! As children, we oftentimes forget that our parents had dreams and struggles. We oftentimes see them as our heroes and look up to them, but tend to forget that they are human as well. I was almost 21 when I learned for the first time that my dad’s dream was to become an air-force pilot in the military, it was so surprising!

This video was absolutely amazing and well done .i cant believe in 10 years of being around each other and you both never spent time alone together..i think for the next 10 years you should spend 1 day a month with your mil and tae spends time alone with his dad . Pani. You n mil could get a foot massage and lunch Movie n lunch.haircut n lunch .buy each other a small gift n exchange it n lunch. Etc . Im happy your mil went to the hospital for help back than to .she is a smart cookie allright..i guess your father in law was surprised to hear this but he said to tae he just worked to feed n clothes his kids. I think you both could do a journal with your dates with mom n dad so your kids can learn more about their grandparents.. This was absolutely raw n heartfelt n you n mil did a great job ! Wow! Such a wonderful conversation. It’s nice that you can speak Korean well enough to communicate with her- as she doesn’t understand or speak English. It’s good to talk to our elders and get a sense of where they came from and perhaps a glimpse as to why they do things the way they do. Or why they are the way they are. We are often a product of our experiences. I loved this conversation as well as the one with your parents.
