Because you need a purpose made court that you can't use for other sports and the average school gym is made to play as many diferent sporst as possible

There are only 7 "Court Tennis" or "Real Tennis" courts in North America.

If some of the old medieval drawings are to be believed, supposedly there was even Triples, Quadruples, Quintuples or even Sextuples. The points must have taken forever.

i just read that real tennis is not played with rackets. so what is this? Slow squash with tennis rules or what?
