hey, at my school i think it was 85% last year but i think it’ll be different at each school. it’s usually quite high for chem cos you need to prove a really strong foundation for an A* hope that helps and good luck :)
I've just gone into year 13 and biology is literal hell it feels like, I don't think I take in knowledge when making notes, but if I try to do past papers I have no idea what to include in my answer, do you have any tips as I feel like it's really difficult to retain all that knowledge from AS.
im doing edexcel IAL y13 bio rn and I was in the same position a couple months ago!! i still make detailed notes but I do it to introduce myself to the topic rather than study it. my "proper studying" involves reading the textbook and explaining every section out loud to myself as a form of active recall around 3 times a week for an hour or two. before i start studying any new content i recap my previous study session's content. it doesn't build exam technique but it definitely helps me retain knowledge which i struggled with sooo much during AS (i basically relearnt the entire years content 2 weeks before the exams bc I couldn't remember anything).
