the best part of that is that little kids genuinely say shit like that all the time. i babysit these kids and they're great but they were telling me about their birthday party at the skate rink and the younger one (6) said "it was fun but after the party when we were packing up some guys dressed in black started beating up this other guy and my dad had to call the police :D" and then he just went back to playing with his toy cars
iirc these are edited so that the dub is synced, on the other hand, I could also see this being done with multiple monitors, one showing the same video a few seconds ahead
I love the "Mean girl" Improv. transforming the genuine confusion over a new character suddenly appearing into a part of the storyline. I also like how Alfred as the Teacher was a straight man in the comedy routine... but also he reveals that Trees actually are fake.
Chase's slightly slurred stream of consciousness that only kids can do sent me back to the memories of with working toddlers and kindergartens. Even the part where they make a comprehensive statement then going back to stating their day.
It almost feels like Ryan *knew* Penny’s character was gonna chuckle, so he decided to go for a spoiler, entrusting Penny with the responsibility to do said aggressive laughter.

Ryan (or whoever was voicing dhar man during the dragon add) was spot on. That's exactly how he portrays himself in his videos and has his actors talk about him. I have never seen a more egotistical and insecure influencer in my life.
@@caitlinabbott7895 to be honest I could see why people think they're similar, but Ryan has a sort of higher lilt to his voice where Chase has more of an underlying bass. It's subtle, but there's a clear difference to me at least

Fun fact: 7 characters in the first video are pro-tree and 10 are anti-three (though the figure changes to 8-9 after the protagonist becomes a believer). It’s also notable that the principal, despite being a trathiest, is somehow capable of not only interacting with the 5 tree ghosts, but also has the disciplinary power to call them to his office, meaning they are either human frauds, the principal is in on a conspiracy to cover up the existence of trees, or they are ghost frauds.

This is the first time I watched a BTDubs episode and I gotta say, that first bit turning a generic anti-bullying Dhar Mann episode into “Inception: Trees Edition” gave me a VERY good first impression of this series!

The streaming story is somehow the funniest thing y’all have done so far. The way the dub story was just a more extreme and bizarre version of the actual story worked perfectly and honestly did a better job at showing the dangers of streaming then the actual video.
I come back to this video every so often because every other line is gold but for some reason the girl at the beginning just saying “fuck you” and leaving always gets me So many lines in this video absolutely break me, “scan this QR code to die instantly”, the twitch emotes, “go to hell” as he gives her the firing notice, this is the most underrated snapcube video
I'm in an adult course in college for a TA course with a bunch of wine moms and I'm not even kidding we ended up on talking about how Dahr Mann is actually good and educational for children to learn socially during lunch, I'm was so in awe I became speechless.
