You are the only content creator that makes me get up, grab my sketchbook, and follow along with you in a real time sketching vid XD I didn't go so far as to add shading, but its always a joy to be able to follow along and complete the sketch in around the same time that you do :')
I watch a lot of art vids, and normally I’m just very intrigued but don’t usually get inspired by them. But for some reason, this really inspired me. I don’t know if it’s the way you explain your process, or maybe because our processes and styles are already so similar, but it made me want to whip out my sketchbook and draw again after a long art block, so thank you ❤
You are really really inspiring, I did not have hope in my drawing skills and I gave up so many many times. Them I saw one of your videos and I fell in love. Everything was absolutly beautiful and was the style that i was looking for, and my drawing skill WAS ACTUALY INCREASING. I,m very thankful for finding you, your work mean a lot, A LOT to me, words aren't enough to explain how thankful i am kisses from Colombia!
This video really helped me understand how to map out the facial features, even though I've always used guidelines I could never make sense of them. Thanks for this, I'm definitely gonna rewatch this tomorrow and try to follow along in my sketchbook.
You are so freaking helpful, I have been trying to get the nose neck and mouth corrected for so long and then you came along and omg, you are amazing 🙏
As a beginner, I really don't have proper understanding about proportions, how to map face elements properly. So, can I use a ruler to map the elements? Like drawing a horizontal reference line first and figuring out about how much degrees the head is tilted and so on? And which pencil should I use? When I use 2B it becomes really dark and I end up messing up those shading. Some parts are light, some parts are somewhat gray and some are completely dark and even figuring out which pencil to use is challenging for me.
I'm confused how this looks correct. You put the eyeline at the brow line and not below. would that make the eyebrow and eye placement too high on the face? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Loomis method. I'll do my own drawings and follow the steps but the proportions look off. Is this why? Is the horizontal line of the side plane the brow line or the eyeliner? I always read the brow starts there. But you put the eyes at that level instead. How does this still look accurate?
I don't know if you look and answer the comments, but I have a question - I find it very challenging to "place" the facial features like the eyes, nose, and lips. A millimeter to the left, right, up, down, the slight difference in size, the shape....it seems to make an unwanted big difference with just a teensy amount of difference/mistake. Therefore, the more I try to refine the shape and features, the worse it gets. As much as the answer is likely "practice" but here is what I am wondering - is it best I keep drawing the same face over and over again until I get the hang of it, or should I try various different portraits? i don't know what the best way is to get better at it - I'm quite fine with drawing animals, but human faces have always been the issue with me, it seems to require super refined accuracy that requires an AI, but I just can't get the hang of it.
Can you make my husband’s photo too...? I will pay you if u want. Though no one can pay for ur talent i mean it won't be worthy enough if someone gives you the entire world. ❤❤ you are very talented. Mash Allah. Bless you. ❤❤
Hello ma'am! Can you make any video about "How to draw poses or figure or faces from imagination ?" It's really hard to draw when it comes from the imagination. So please. Thank you 😊.
