I understand the appeal of getting the fake ones because they're cheaper - but it's not like getting a knockoff hand bag - that's putting your health at risk. Just because it's a better shade doesn't mean it's just as good as the original. Fake make-up can do serious damage to your health. Be smart.

For everyone saying they like the color of the fake better try Colored Raine's "Tootsie" or "Roulette". Real UB is a really solid red brown with no purple undertones so the fake is like, a really bad fake lol.

i ordered some replicas from aliexpress too and most of the differences were gone. the package, the font on the bottle, the wand, the color of the wand, the top sticker, they all made it identical but the color of the lipstick is still 2 shades different

jeffree's liquid lipsticks are not moisturizing... lol. but they aren't drying either. I would have used a different word rather than "moisturizing".

Thank you for the video. This helps so much. My cousin and I order Jeffree's lip colors often and love them. And are worth every penny. Fakes don't go in nearly as smoothly and don't feel as soft on yours lips. I'LL STICK WITH THE REAL ONES.

I'm so confused. I just got Scorpio as a Christmas Gift and I don't know where the person who gave me the gift got the lipstick from. Everything about the lipstick seems real, except the color is just a hint off.... It's more purple-y and on JS's website Scorpio is more gray.

honestly the fake one is hideous. I prefer keeping my lips moisturized and healthy. Idek why people prefer a low-quality lipstick. on TOP of that , its plagiarism ,it damages your lips , and for all we know it may be made out of cows organs. Logic nowadays lol. I just tried some of the dupes, which I immediately sent back for a refund... this crap hurt my lips to wear, real pain. it dries like death. if yall are living just to be cheap,more power to you. I'm not rich but I will pay the real price to Jeffree for his fabulous liquid lipstick and get the quality he mastered. the dupes are trash.

Until watching this I've only just notice my "unicorn blood" one is a fake. I seriously didn't know because the product itself is actually really good, colour is perfect and it stays on really good. Of course, I totally understand the ingredients in it are a load of crap compared to jeffrees and I will he getting the proper one, but if you aren't vegan and aren't bothered, the fake is lovely ahha

I bought the fake one, however it id much harder to notice than that fake one, even on the bottom of the lipstick, it has the company name, the ounces, etc. except on the company name it says Heffree Star instead of Jeffree.... and the worst part, it has GLUE in it.

I brought unicorn blood but in fake, like I can't even complain I was really surprised from the results because I've spent more on lipsticks by like rimmel and they've just been shit.

I've used the fake for Gemini. I wanted it so badly, I couldn't wait. It took a ridiculous amount of scrubbing to get it off my lips when I tried taking it off, and left my lips feeling really dry :(

I love my fake one, granted the applicator I find is shite, but I love it. I can't afford to spend shit loads of money on fancy make up :( However! Put some Vaseline over the top of the fake one and it will slide off.

the packaging on mine is the same as the real one in this video but the lipstick brush and colour is the same as the fake one, and it looks like the darker one, i got it for £.5.99 from ebay. it's a really nice colour but always makes my lips sore. im guessing its fake:((

A friend of mine offered to sell me two lipsticks which i was so excited for, upon receiving them i noticed the small differences and was extremely disappointed to find that they were fakes, your video helped me confirm and add a few more reasons to why they were fake and i was able to report the place of which she brought them from. Girls compared to the fakes Jeffree stars lipsticks are quality.

I brought two from Ebay to get an idea of what they are like compared to the real product and I've got to say I'm surprised by how decent the fakes are. My fakes were better than yours, maybe they perfect their product. I haven't worn the fake I put it on a piece of paper for comparison, the colour was almost identical.

It's kinda sad that soo many people would buy the fake one. Not only is there dangerous chemicals in it and most likely tested on animals but it's like buying stolen artwork. You don't put money in someone else's pockets for something they stole. It's just wrong.

Many said fake one is better than real one. Really? It is fake and it cannot immitate the real color which means it didn't do its job. And these are two totally different color, people! Not better. It's different.

i got 4 fake ones including unicorn blood. my ones don't look like your fake one.. 3 of the wands were white but one was clear and applicator was exactly like the real one. your unicorn blood is darker too. mines the exact same as the real

you can't really tell from the box because I bought from his site from his first release and all the time the box color will be slightly different. and the first release didn't have the Barcode sticker. But the sticker on the bottom of the actual lipstick, can show the difference. the colors from all his releases also are slight different. Best bet is the bottle itself

Mine is fake, the sticker isn't like the real one, there's no barcode. But the writing is exactly the same as the real one and the wand is clear too!

watch out with anything counterfeit when dealing with colors they could contain lead pigments.
