My personal rule: I would only buy the real luxury item if there was an obvious and significant difference between it and a fake. If luxury brand or fashion house can’t beat the quality of a fake, then marketing isn’t going to fool me with the illusion of prestige associated with its products
It's also nice to not have to worry about ruining your investment piece bag, it's easier to enjoy life if you can just ignore any stains or damage to your bag cause it's cheap
@@beepboop7090not sure about that statement. Quite a few luxury brands are known to skimp on production quality. That's not to say all of them do, some are probably worth their price tag, but sadly the same can't be said about them all
I inhereted my late mother's vintage bags, most of them are gucci and loewe. She bought them in the 80s and 90s, and I definitely say that the quality is top-notch! Such classic and elegant designs too and not to mention the durability. They don't make em like how they used to, I guess. Thank you Mama. ❤
theres a community for it. Its quite discrete bc the people who buy it are high profiles and they dont want you to know what they have is fake. You have to do bit of digging. I found one by accident and the price range for channel is between $1000-$2000 for $10k+ bag
The fact that people care whether a piece of clothing or accessory is “fake” or not baffles me… like girl you have nothing else to do but worry about what Michelle next door be wearing?
My coworker bought a real Nike shoes. And I was like when he opened the box: "😳 Are tou sure this is authentic? Coz look at the stitching and how it's not clean and still have unsnipped exess threads. ". I was bamboozled, coz the fake ones even look like the real thing. Crazy.
The stitching and hardware are visibly clear. Those details make or break my decision in any purchase no matter what brand. Patricia Nash has stunning color but the hardware and stitching needs improvement.
In reality these real designer bags are made with similar cheap products. Its the brand name that adds the surplus price for the company. Go for fake ones so we stop making these designers more rich
Imagine actually saying you want the fake version of the bag publicly… just because YOU won’t spend the money on it doesn’t mean you have to belittle it for those who will. Stop being judgemental and accept that others spend money their own way.
If a fake brand can produce something identical for much cheaper, why would one buy the more expensive? Obviously they’re paying for the name but no one would know unless they carefully observe. Big name brands are so ridiculous to me

Honestly they are probably made in the same factory. The only difference will be the authentication. The stitching on the fake also look more neater. I understand buying a luxury brand before bc brand like channel actually have a gold plated hardware, actually made in france or italy with real artisans. Nowadays everything is made in the same factory somewhere in a developing countries with workers still underpaid and they just do a hot stamp in italy and put a label made in italy. Then sell it for millions. Such a rip off. Its better to just buy a high quality brand less stuff from real artisan. You dont have to pay for the label and more for the quality.
