As inflation continues to increase while income remains the same or possibly lower, why is it a good idea to purchase self storage if the market is in the beginning of a downturn? People will be selling their "extra" belongings to pay down debt and reduce expenses (i.e. rental fees). I predict a large downturn in the need for these types of properties. Great video but there is a huge assumption that the economy will continue as is. In a down turn EVERYTHING crashes. The recession we are currently in, yes we are in a recession, will take back property values at least 10 years. I’ve seen it happen twice in my life and have taken advantage of those situations. This down turn will be the largest we will experience in the past 50 years at least. Too much money has been printed at super low interest for the past 13 years. There will be no bailout for the next crash as those bailouts are the reason for this crash. Still this is a nice channel and if you put down 50% you will be ok. Good luck everyone.
