My English is not that good but I hope ull understand what m saying... the thing why yama is legend and why we all follow him is because of his legacy... In general, at that time there were many nepali rap song but we dn't accept rap as a song at that time becoz you know its really hard to accept new things in old society where most of the peoples are not well educated. or we are more traditional at that time or maybe we have our own culture for music or maybe something... the main point here is rap song were so much aggressive and use straight forward word but Yama buddha changed everything by releasing song SATHI And YO PRASANGA rap and introduce new way of perceiving rap song.. that rap was really game changing for nephop coz everybody loves that rap even tho they donot like rap at all and everybody start to listen rap and change the perspective of people how they see rap as... I hope you understand my english :D and also correct me if Im wrong here.. thank you

His name is combined from two different deities, one is Yama, who is Bhairav, one of the aggressive and dangerous avatar of Yamaraj ,according to Hindu mythologies, whereas Buddha teachings are completely Opposite. Lord Gautam Buddha was known for the divine power, wisdom, harmony and humbleness, intellectual knowledges, generosity and much more, both name has different significant as well, one plays good role and another is bad ., indicating both positive and negative aspects of our life, which should be balanced in between good and evil. He combined those significant names and merge it together and that's exactly ,how we got the legendary hip-hop artist and his name 'Yama buddha.'

You didn't got the lyrics, when he was alive his main goal was to feed all the homeless kids in the street of Kathmandu, he mostly spent his time with them, sang song for them and gave them the happiness they need, apart from rap he was more human to them, he had the foundation to fulfil their need.And he was also saying this in his song, what you know about being homeless but you skip such lines. Yeah!! The lyrics are simple but what he did to those orphan kids was what he made the greatest human being. Please have some research before reacting legends.
