Hey mate great video. The full POV is brilliant as apposed to a mounted camera, keep up the good work. I’m about to start my training as a bus driver down in Dorset, very excited! Any tips?

Thanks I appreciate your comment, yeah, the mounted POVs would only be for when I can't do the full POVs (if I have passengers/on service) Tips: Bus theory test: instead of doing the mock tests over and over again trying to guess the right answer until getting enough marks to pass, Just study all the questions 1 time and then see all the questions with the correct answer showing.. 2 times (all this can be done in 1 day) and I guarantee you will get the pass mark (43/50) every time. It will save a lot of time and make it so much easier. Once on the road the absolute biggest game changer is looking as far as your eyes can see on the road that you're going, always keep an eye on the traffic lights far ahead to see when they changed to red or to green then you can feel confident going through them without having to worry about slowing down and being paranoid, also keep mind the traffic lights that only work if someone presses the button (usually not near a junction) Practice strict Pull and Push Steering in your car before the training until you pass so that you get used to it and don't get it mixed up on the bus. The buses have much much better view of the road and surrounding than a car you can see what cars can't see, but to get the full benefit you must always adjust your seat, even if takes long to adjust it's worth it usually the higher the seat the more view you will have, and always adjust mirror too as if you adjust your seat and how it was before you got on it will be different to how it needs to be for you when you're about to drive, the mirror should always cover 1/3 of the bus and 2/3 of the road and try to get a bit of front wheel on the mirror so you can see how close you are to the curb and adjust your bus (steer) accordingly this is extremely important specially when you are a new driver... Don't think too much of it mentally if you pass you pass if you fail you fail it's just driving not the end of the world... 1 week before your test: Eat non processed food and only water until after you pass your test, it will make your brain significantly sharper and you won't feel much stress and pressure /paranoid during your test. Day before test: Summer is here so go for 1 hour walk on your own in the sun and then hard swimming which will help you fall asleep and get a good sleep. After passing and work: Bus driver job is very easy to get if you have a bus licence the company will call you if they know you have a bus licence, after 6 months of experience you can literally go from £12/16 h to £18/21h (I am making a vid about it) Best of luck!

Well Manchester’s buses are quite bland. All the same colour. That’s my opinion as a Sheffielder however.

You're right. I was thinking the same thing... the whole Bee Network (Yellow) looks like it's from some cartoon. They really could have made it so much nicer if they wanted too.
