In this tutorial I demonstrate the free Camera Shakify addon for Blender. It allows us to very quickly add realistic camera shake to our animations. This is a simple method to make our cg shots feel more alive and realistic!

I already had camera shakify for a while now. Over the last two days I wanted an addon that could do the same thing for objects. I'm making shadow puppets and want them to have handheld jitter. Most of the addons I found were paid, and the free ones seem to be outdated for my Blender version. Turns out I wasted so much time, because all I had to do was create a new camera, add shakify to that camera, then parent the bottom of the puppet's stick to the camera's origin. It works so dang good.

Crazy to know, once upon a time I had to learn off different Graph editor Tuts and Fast-forward, Blessed with an add-on. I Love Add-ons because they are timesavers but I've also, learned that Procedural knowledge is a Major factor depending on the project. Nonetheless, Thank You. Peace & Blessings ✌🏾

Found a solution. Wrote to the developer and told me this: "Blender has a built-in function for baking animation under the menu "Object -> Animation -> Bake Action...". Make sure to turn on both "Visual Keying" and "Clear Constraints" in the baking pop up."

What if you want to use this for only part of the animation and ten switch to another iteration immediately? For example if a character is walking and then starts to run with much moe shaky movement. All your videos are great, by the way.

is there any sort of way to apply it to an object? im making an animation and i made a basic humanoid model behind the camera to make the shadows and reflections more realistic so i decided to animate that object moving and parent the camera to it, but when i apply the camera shake to the camera it jitters how you would expect it to in place, but the movements are very clunky still because the camera doesnt actually have any animated translations from all of the movements being keyed to the humanoid. if there was a way to attach the jitter to the humanoid it would be much better
